He would be a class move for the Championship. We were mildly linked with him when Sunderland were looking at him. I wanted him then. He didn't shine at Sunderland, but apart from Defoe and Pickford, not many did. He is very tall, great in the air, and pace to spare. Seems well suited to be a top Championship defender at the very least.
Kirchhoff had knee surgery in December and re-injured it in March. Still, if he can pass the medical he might be alright.
Football League World are suggesting that Charlton sign JM for this season. What planet do their bloggers live on? If they had suggested RM, then, OK.
You beat me to it. As if we're going to loan out one of our finest young players (who has proved he can hack the championship) to help a league 1 side achieve a decent season I wish these assholes would engage brain before pounding away at computer keyboards https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/t...creative-touch-charlton-athletic-are-lacking/
If this is true (and I trust Nick Mashiter faaaarrrr more then I do Read Norwich!) then what's the stumbling block? £350k is boogie all considering the amount we've spent and how much has been generated through player sales and reducing the overall wage bill? Another solid CB wouldn't go amiss, the term "feast or famine" springs to mind - and we've been starved of top CB's in recent seasons. http://readnorwich.com/2017/08/02/norwich-remain-keen-on-raggett/
We seem only to be buying players who can play in at least two random different positions at the moment. I'm expecting us to be interested in a goalkeeper/attacking right winger next.
I'd like him! I've heard of him. Pretty decent player. Attacking midfielder who is very tall and has played as a striker. Mainly Attacking Centre or Right Winger who is Left-Footed. Could be a striker option.
I was worried people might think he was a ball handling right winger like Suarez at WC 2010 v Ghana...
