We have to sell him to Barca especially if he wants to leave and buy at least two quality players from the money. No idea why Barca are very greedy they have so many good players. SCREW BARCA!! SCREW BARCA !!
I disagree, while we can cope without him he is the difference in us getting into the top 4 or more or us just getting top 6. When he's on form he's simply brilliant but even when he's not 100% he still influences the game around him like nobody else in our team can. If he is sold then we need a replacement brain for the team as all these runners need someone to pick them out.
Got to disagree - Coutinho is the alpha and omega of our creativity: there just isn't, Mane included to a degree, anyone in that squad with 'magic' in their boots like Ford.
^this plus back in a deeper position we will see more of the short(ish) incisive passing that none of the others manage on a regular basis. Hendersons long passing is underated (when fit) but cannot do the same over shorter distances near a crowded box
If we could buy someone like Mata for @ £15m (they don't use him) I would do. Someone like Silva. We call Lallana and Firmino 10's - no they're not, compared to Ford, Silvs or Mata. Think we missed out on Eriksen too a few years back. If Ford goes (and IF Barca stump up £135m, then fair enough), but we need, before the start of the season, something of that ilk.
Mata actually played quite a bit for ManU last season but i take your point about needing more vision/subtlety in MF to open up defences . I do have hopes for Salah ,who i thought was ok at Chelsea considering the way they "used" him and he improved at Roma, adding another direct threat and trickery around the box though obviously the better the supply the better the results.
It was only gerrez and myself that was pissed off at the time we didn't buy him before spurs did esp the price. Now the rest of you are jumping on the bandwagon
From Brazil: Liverpool not selling Coutinho, even if he tries to force his way out http://sportwitness.co.uk/brazil-liverpool-not-selling-coutinho-even-tries-force-way/
Well that's not fair. Surely if he wants to leave he should be allowed to leave. doublestandarddippers
Klopp likes to have set targets. Get them, great. If not, we'll cope. Strap in boys, we're in for a rough time (and not in a RHC type of fashion)
