    We need a young AM.
A big, wealthy team on Merseyside need a CB.
A cash plus Barkley deal for VD seems to fit the bill.

IMO Van Dickhead s on par with Koeman and Lovren in terms of being a bellend.

£70-80M, not Liverpool, and move on. Actually, let's make it £90M. I'm in a nasty mood. <devil>

Might as well round it up to a cool £100m then. Not unreasonable in these mad times.

The prices are rising like house prices have done over the years. Hardly worth quibbling about a few million- the players will all look like bargains in a couple of years.

About 3 months ago I suggested £70M and someone on here thought I was mad [not present company]. Not so mad now is it. £90-100M isn't 'out there'. If someone is determined to have VVD, they'll pay. ;)

I really hope we can get this over and done with....if he does not want to be here anymore get rid of him, once we get our asking price.I really do not understand the anger towards LFC and our board for the deals done between the two,to the best of my limited knowledge we have always received exactly what we have asked....in some cases we mugged them off ,in others we maybe could have gotten more, but in both scenarios LFC is not to blame.
As a club we walk a tight rope with our constant selling and buying low to replace ....but that is our position within the EPL food chain, anyone who expects us to splash WHU sums of money around should take a look at the league 1 table......have much more to write\say but I am pissed and its 2am here....some of our fan base need a serious dose of perspective.

Unless there's a crash like with housing in 2008. In which case we might suddenly become the only club able to afford our players.

The one thing that seemed to be ignored by those asking for us to spend, spend, spend over the last few years.... when it breaks, we should be healthy.

Not good enough. I want billions squandered on players who, for the most part, fail to live up to their insane price tags. I want us to outspend West Ham simply on principle, I want a new stadium, I want World domination, and I want it all now...
