Hello ladies, hope you are all having a great summer, its been bloody roasting here in Cordoba with record temps of 47 degs (shade temp) Thank god for ice cold beer! Its about time we had a little prediction on where we will finish in the league, this will come as no shock but i predict 17th, thats being optomistic. It doesnt matter who we bring in, we still have MM at the helm and he will never change his ways, sadly! Predictions please!
How about a prediction of League Position / Leading Goalscorer (and number) and POTS 10th Garner (13) Huws
With the current squad, i'm going for 8th. If we can sign one more quality forward, then i think we will surprise a few and get in the play offs. I think Celina will be a big hit, and be our top scorer with 15
Lol, cant see where all the optomism is coming from, have i missed something, has Mick said he is going out to win every game? Highly unlikely, defence first and hope to nick it. Skuse starts every game and Knudsen starts ahead of Kenlock. Signings are distinctly average apart from Iorfa, think its gonna be another long season unless Mick goes early doors!
I haven't had much optimism for a long time, but i can feel it in my waters that we are going to be the surprise package this season, but only if we can sign one more decent forward.
Hello everyone, well, the good news is that I am still here, and the bad news is so is Dinosaur Mick, ha ha! Thanks to Spanish for reminding us that we still have a football club, just, and we have a fresh new season ahead. I have to say that while it fills me with joy to see our cricketing & football playing girls doing so well, I cannot muster much enthusiasm or joy at our prospects for ITFC. However, I wait to surprised, entertained, and with some half decent signings, and a confident sweet-flowing attacking/passing style(ha ha!), if we do get off to a good start, who knows? Our defence looks the best for some years, midfield much to prove, and badly short of firepower. 10th...on a good day. Enjoy the season everyone!
My eldest Brother collapsed and died in Dial Lane in Ipswich Town Centre last week. He died wearing his favourite Town top so at least he went out in the right way! He lived a reclusive life in Framlingham and if he had collapsed and died at home the chances of him being found quickly would have been remote. I'm not sure why I am telling you all this but I suppose it's good to get things off your chest. He was an avid Town fan for over 50 years. RIP Peter.
Thanks for your kind words of support guys. His funeral is next week and he requested that we wear our Town tops which will be lovely. I will feel the proudest I have ever been. Life goes on and I just hope that the team he supported through thick and thin will do him and us proud next season. COYB!
