How the hell can you remember them all? I can only remember four teachers names and I'm not sure I'd recognise any of them (except Mrs Cowley obviously:emoticon-0152-heart).

Strictly speaking, no. It was more like Please Sir, where all the kids are over 40.

One of the infant school teachers back in the day was a big ugly bloke. One day he asked the head if he could wear a dress to work from that day forward.

I sometimes think about how much I miss my happy times at school: forcing new pupils heads down the toilet and flushing it, banging on classroom doors in the science block to get chased by the teachers, having a sneaky fag round the back of the bike sheds; and, of course standing in the queue with the rest of the lads to get a blow job from Nikki big tits of the sixth form. I loved that caretaker's job.

Hewson was there when I was. Think he retired in that time though. Starvation on stilts, as he was known by then. We did get a drama teacher for a the best part of a year who, in every lesson, let us re-enact scenes from The Young Ones, complete with swearing. He left very quietly in the middle of our summer term. Can't think why. Coatesy was worshiped while I was there. Got me and a lot of kids into long-distance running, taking us up to races at Gateshead International Stadium and stuff like that. In the summer he'd be doing sporting stuff pretty much every Saturday and Sunday with the pupils. I played for Hull Teachers with Banksy when I was about 17. Was great to play alongside and then have a few beers with a man I'd respected so much as a child.

My years' football team were very good, but we could never beat Wyke (Nick Barmby) and Saltshouse (a lad called Nicky Everingham, who was not far behind Barmby in ability and for all the world looked like a future pro). We'd had Mark Robinson, Nicky Brown and Neil Buckley at the school just before we left though, and Adam Lowthorpe in the year below me, so that was four professional sportsmen in the space of a decade. Not bad going.

I used to hate going to school. Kids bullying me, teachers shouting at me, getting beat up and having my dinner money nicked. Sports gear stolen , my bike tyres slashed and my books torn up. Finally one day I refused to go and went to my room crying. I laid on my bed contemplating suicide when a booming voice shouted from downstairs, "Are you going to bloody school or what? I replied sobbing, "No, I'm not" The voice replied, "You have to, you're the Headmaster".
