    Yeah me too, what's being 36 got to do with it? He was never quick anyway while left footed centre backs with his experience, nous and character are at a premium. I'd 100% give him 1 year on 15k a week.

    He really wasn't good enough to make 30 appearances for Palace in the Premier League last season.

    Or any other season.

    He failed his medical with us because of a mystery knee problem. His shoulder passed (despite having had shoulder injuries before)

    He was fine for us back in the day, but he's never looked a comfortable Premier League player for me and he looked particularly poor for Palace last season.

    Yep. Yet another day with no senior signings. Come on Ehab, WTF is actually going on? Either things arent going at all to plan, or he is leading us and Leo a merry dance. I suspect it's the latter.

    I'm rapidly getting the impression that our so called head of recruitment has been brought in as a fall guy for Ehaw to blame .. given his track record was less then impressive at his previous clubs .. but no doubt TWT

    And out comes a slutsky interview right on cue, praising the youngsters and saying theyl be in and around the first team

    Big question now, what standard are the likes of batty, luer, olley at?
    Can they cope in the championship?

    I think wel have a smattering of loan signings to cover first team exits and the youngsters as backup, i wouldnt expect major incomings

    First parachute payment and last seasons prize money, straight in the allams pocket, would people gladly accept that if it paid of the allamgift loan?

    At best the guy is clearly a very inexpensive fall guy/yes man for Ehab. What other credible reason is there for us employing him in that position? He appears to have had very little success at any of the other clubs where he's worked. What exactly were the merits that saw him get the position, or was it simply that no one else wanted to work so closely with Ehab but he was desperate enough to take it?
