Sadio Mane takes a cheeky dig at Paul Pogba's barber
    upload_2017-6-24_8-40-53.png
Paul Pogba’s critics often used his revolving hair styles as a way of poking fun at the Frenchman’s performances for Manchester United.

More haircuts than assists, fans would say about Pogba, who notched a disappointing tally of five assists in all competitions.

The Frenchman showed that he hasn't taken the jibes to heart though as he recently unveiled a new Chinese-inspired hairstyle on Instagram.

Won't get the credit he deserves but he was the ultimate steady eddy player. Very good defender and could play either flank.

According to The Independent, Arsenal might have to sell a whole host of players this summer to ensure they don’t come into conflict with the Premier League’s new cost control regulations.

Set to kick in next season, the Premier League is introducing new rules to regulate how much a club’s wage bill can increase each year.

This is an issue for Arsenal as the Gunners are looking to tie both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil down to lucrative long term contracts which will increase the club’s wage bill.

The Independent’s Jack Pitt-Brooke points out that if Arsenal’s wage bill is £7m higher next season than it was last season, they would need to make up for it in extra revenue – most likely player sales.

The likes of Jack Wilshere, Olivier Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain would all have the exit door look all the more likely if Ozil and Sanchez signed new deals.

For Liverpool, this comes as good news as it would put them in a good position in their pursuit of Chamberlain. With Arsenal potentially in a position where they would need to sell, Liverpool would hold considerably more bargaining power than initially thought.

On top of Arsenal’s wage bill predicament, Liverpool are in the position of being able to offer Champions League football whereas Arsenal are due to participate in the Europa League.

Arsenal are looking to offer Sanchez and Ozil wages of £280,000 per week, according to the Independent, which would see the club’s wage bill increase by £15m. This increase is before any new signings are taken into consideration.

Arsenal will have to sell a few players this summer if they are to hold onto both Sanchez and Ozil and Chamberlain is likely to be one of those with his contract yet to be settled and rumours aplenty regarding his future.

If the club’s wage bill does increase then revenue needs to cover the increase with commercial money, ticketing and player sales all possible avenues of income. Although, with Arsenal absent from the UEFA Champions League, the Gunners will struggle to make up the deficit through commercial, ticketing or TV money.

Liverpool are looking to bolster their squad as they look to take part in next season’s Champions League which Chamberlain could be a part of.

Mohamed Salah has already joined Liverpool, breaking the club’s transfer record previously held by Andy Carroll since his 2011 move.

Naby Keita is also a priority for Liverpool while there could still be more drama in the Virgil van Dijk saga.

    Pffft.

That's a lot of money for potential. Can't see any PL paying that for a future star

On the subject of Mbappe, I agree that it is more media hype than reality that LFC have made 2 bids for him.

What I find interesting is Wenger apparently making serious bids for him. Is it for the benefit of their fans and to appease them after they've asked for his sacking for not bringing quality signings? Arsenal are out of the champions league, and Mbappe is one of the most sought after players and on top of Real Madrid's wish list. It begs the question whether if Arsenal were in the CL and had a realistic chance of actually landing him, would Wenger (who has been famous for seeking Value for money) have made a serious bid then? Wenger must surely know that the France player is going to choose to work with Zidane.

Are the Arsenal fans now appeased, thinking that their club and Wenger have changed their ways and bidding high to bring expensive recruits to their club?

They do it every year. Put bids in for players won't he tlike Suarez to appease the fans before signing some random guy.

    Much like the lacazette offers.

If all the rumours are true, Arsenal's bid was considerably lower than the bid from Real that had already been been rejected, so utterly pointless PR.

As for the fans, they will see it for what it is, except the ardent Wenger lovers and the random lunatics.

    game time.

its a pity england don't have slightly more up front than they do as the gk, midfield and defence is pretty good.

Rashford is above this of course according to mr southgate and mr mourinho

when he's playing for hull in 4 years time he can look back and be satisfied his england career was great though
