I'd take him on loan, clearly Bayern have decided their investment was a bad one, so I don't see why United need to clean that mess up for them.
Why on loan - you would be cleaning up that mess for Bayern that way by sorting him out for them then sending him back. £30M for one of the most promising youngsters on the planet is a no brainer in my opinion - it pocket change for you anyway. Like every Portuguese player, he idolises Mourinho so would be more willing to do what he says - namely play in the reserves for a year until Carrick retires.
On loan for the exact reason we took Falcao on loan, there's no guarantees that the kid will do well. There's nowt stopping us putting an option to buy in the loan, so no lose. For all we know, Sanches could be the next Ravel Morrison, or Martin Odegaard. We also have Angel Gomez coming through now, he's sort of Portuguese too, I'd prefer him to be given his chance.
They play in different positions - Angel is a AM while Sanches is a CM/DM. Bayern have given up on him because he is not the finished article and they prefer to buy players rather then develop them. You have players that are reaching the end of their careers in those positions so might be worth having him in the reserves while Carrick and maybe Fellani play their last season with you. Apparently the price is now £26M - after seeing him in Euro 2016 he is well worth the risk imo.
There's no way Jose Mourinho would entrust a holding role in CM to a 19 year old kid, if we need one it'll be a Matic type, but from what I can see Herrera's the long term plan. Gomes is probably the most complete midfielder we've produced in a long time, if we discount Pogba he is. He's got it in him to develop into a cracking CM, his passing range and vision are brilliant for his age, but having said that, I'd still take Sanches as long as we weren't taking the burden of a flopped transfer. It has to be a loan imo, with a view to buy. I doubt there'll be a deal to be done anyway, JM was heavily criticised by K-HR last year so if there's a loan option, it's most likely going to be to a manager that Bayern have a lot of respect for. Liverpool perhaps.
Angel is only 16 so is one for the far future - hopefully he carries on playing for England if what you say is true as all I've seen of him is his cameo on the last game of the season. Matic is linked with you and with Bakayoko signing for Chelsea and him making a not very subtle "come get me" interviews, can see a transfer happening unless Chelsea take the piss on their value of him. You are the only club linked with Sanches which is interesting - normally a player like that would be linked with every club around from his agent Rainola hawking him around.
He's a great little player, the youth stuff is often on MUTV so I watch that every now and then, there's a lot of talent in the u-18's. Yeah Raiola knows us well, a guy Fergie never liked dealing with, but Woodward seems to like shaking hands with the bloke. I really would like Matic at United if there's a possibility of the deal, he's a game winning player imo.
Rumours are that you've already agreed personal terms with Matic and are haggling over the fee with Chelsea - they want £40M http://metro.co.uk/2017/06/23/neman...ited-ahead-of-potential-chelsea-exit-6729557/
Matic would instantly improve our team and give Pogba license to get forward, no brainer if it's on the cards

Call me mad, but Gomez's movement, size and plays remind me of one young Messi. Hopefully we continue to nurture him.
Apparently Munich have dropped the price of Sanches to £23M - they want to move him on asap so they don't have to pay around £10M in addons at the beginning of next season.
