    So that's 1.3m if we pay it now or 3m if we defer payment to next year when Brexit shows it a teeth<whistle>

    I know mighty 1.3 or 1.5 what does it matter... you could buy your whole team for that and still have change for a yacht and a few ferrari's

    It appears Mateusz Klich is undergoing a medical and set to join after Leeds agreed a 2m
    Fee with his current club. Seems a decent midfielder and some positive action at last on the playing front from the Radz

    I don't know if interesting is the right term :D Thought-provoking, yes, but still blindingly boring. Bottom line, it appears that although the current purchase price is £17.2m, we can present a case to Teak that it might be in their best interests to accept £14m.

    I'm not convinced that the land will be as worthless as they make out. The tories are in power, and if we'd had a Chernobyl-type disaster, they'd be building houses for poor people on it.I'm exaggerating, but you get my point - it's not going to be a peppercorn sale in 2029, is it?

    The other thing I wondered about was the terms & conditions attached to the East Stand improvements carried out by Bates. Didn't it cost £6m? Surely there must be some benefit to the club, wrt the sale of ER?

    Yeah Bates borrowed £6m then paid double that to himself. Will there ever be a payback on that £6m outlay mmmm ......

    The reason Infind the stadium thing interesting is that I assumed Kinnear was brought in to buy ER then sell it after we had a new stadium built. Whatever we do the council have to be involved: firstly selling ER for redevelopment needs planning permission with it only having a solitary use clause as sports stadium. Redevelopment of ER and the other parcel of land attached would mean council,backing but we could end up with a bigger ground an academy along the same lines of Man City Emirates complex.
