Terrible times in Portugal at the moment. More than 60 people have lost their lives to forest fires. <rose>

A lot of people, including me, have over the years taken the piss at old Phil's expense, but the bloke is one hell of a fighter when it comes to his health. He's again been hospitalised with an infection. Fingers crossed for the the aged gent.

That is a great little tale, Oddy, know I won't, but feel like looking for a new club, Chelsea or Bayern? At least I'll not get six defeats in a row TWICE in a season! Think I'll send Uli a packet or two of my favourite crisps, as he's got all the Würste he needs, I'm sure. :emoticon-0100-smile

Just finished The Sopranos ...................... what a masterpiece, especially the fabulous and tragically departed James Gandolfini. Here is a clip of him on Saturday Night Live in Tony mode ..................... Big T. Orignal G. Respect.

Sopranos was great but the police surveillance was pathetic wasn't it,biggest gangster in New Jersey and he's swanning around with a big cigar without a care in the world!Im watching El Chapo at the moment on netflicks, very good, similar to Narcos-Also recommend one called the Break, it's a police investigation set in a rural village in Belgium, the main character is this unstable cop who gives you bad nerves even watching him!Really enjoyed it and has a class opening soundtrack. Also gave The Keepers a go but frankly it bored the arse off me.

Oddy it's prob the only big one I haven't seen, going to start watching it after El Chapo, don't forget to give love/hate a go, unstable Dublin gangsters going at it! I couldn't get into that Game of Thrones bolix, to many plots and characters for my liking though the 'love making scenes' we're an interesting watch!Have you watched Vikings Oddy, it's actually made in Wicklow.Im mates with one of the extras, apparently Jonathan Reece Myers comes into but he was such a coke head on set they had to kill his character off in one series cus nobody could handle his shenanigans on the set!

Always thought I'd missed out having never attended Glastonbury in my youth and long past wanting to spend 4 days ****ting in a chemical bog. However watching bits today it looks like a Saga Holidays destination. Crinklies all over the place. They could film the sequel to Cocoon there. Turns out I'm not old enough....yet.

Feck all decent bands around these day, it's either cheesy radio sh!te or singersong writer drivel.

Good morning, interesting stuff above. Oddy, the "German download police"? Mamma mia, what's that?

Have always dug my heels in with these Sky people, once shut our door in the face of their sales people a few years back. It is totally unfair when one pays an annual TV licence fee when along comes some s***e outfit and tells you if you want to watch this and that sports even you've got to pay us. Missus told me the other day that the Bundesliga will be done by Sky in a year or so? Am suffering at the moment though, see the bastards have got the current RU tests in NZ. It's tough sometimes to stay with your beliefs.

Do agree that pop music has gone downhill lately. Cyc, who the **** is Ed Sheeran? <laugh>
