Sounds daft but I'd settle for not getting an out and out striker as long as we get pace and width and sort out a bit of steel at the back if midfield and defence. Our goals for wasnt an issue last season it was how many we conceded. And being too narrow against a defensive set up.
I agree. In attack we desperately need another Mané type player and hopefully if we sign Salah it shows Klopp has that as a priority. I would still like us to sign a good pacey striker though and it seems criminal with the likes of Lacazette and Abamayang on the move, if we don't take an interest
Liverpool star set to snub Juventus to stay at Anfield for £100,000 a-week deal Liverpool star Emre Can is set to snub Juventus and PSG to stay at Anfield according to reports in Italy. Porto left-back Rafa Soares has admitted to being a Liverpool follower from a young age and has spoken of his love for the club’s ‘unique’ anthem You’ll Never Walk Alone. The 22-year-old impressed last season whilst on loan at Rio Ave to attract interest from bigger clubs, with the Reds linked with a £13million move for him this summer
I've just read up a little on him. Seems like he wasn't good enough for Porto so went on loan last season and now his main target is to become a Porto regular. Doesn't sound too convincing tbh. He did get 3 goals and 5 assists in about 30 games though so he's clearly quite offensive.
Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic could be heading to Watford to be reunited with coach Marco Silva. Markovic enjoyed a successful loan spell at Hull City during the second half of last season, where Silva was able to reignite some of the form that once made the Serbian a £20 million player. Liverpool still hope to get back most of that outlay for the winger, who is surplus to requirements on Merseyside
Tobes wont be happy, he was adamant it was only £18m with add-ons, when I said it was going to be £25m rising to £30m.
