All I can say is, I remember some Dutch lad promising us sexy football. I think he played Sunderland fan Paul Robinson over Alan Shearer in a derby game...

I won't have a word said against Paul Robinson. He was a half decent keeper.

 

'Our' Robinson was declared bankrupt at some stage. They reckon he had a **** load of personal problems and ended up back living with his mam and dad in Seaburn! How the hell do you go from playing in a NE derby to that? He got taken off after 12mins for Jarrow Roofing once too. I remembered reading about it and the manager glossed over it saying he wasn't at his best

I could well believe it. I don't know if it was down to the drink when he got taken off. You kinda hope it is if he has gone from leading the line in a NE derby to getting subbed off by Jarrow Roofing after 12 mins.

Ah but Jimi if you work yourself, then you're an obsessed tosspot and one of ACS's minions. You have to put in the years being the silent type, and then they eventually let you have the odd bit of sport. Ok you get Sammy who rarely posts on here or there, but when he does it is solely to work his ticket. However he is quite open about it.

Different rules when they venture over here. I mean we used to get the likes of Bri, RAW, 83 and they always liked a dig. I thought it was acceptable as they were our rivals so never had an issue.
