Todays' games 2016/17

So many fekkin' Traore's and we ended up with the defender who couldn't defend...

 

United stringing 5 across the middle making it difficult for Ajax to play through them.......not a great game.

 

That's why I'm watching the cricket.

Ajax were very poor. Utd won the midfield hands down with a Jose masterclass.
Tactical genius from Mourinho.
This was a big step up for this talented, young Ajax side, playing one of the top 6 in the Premier League, which is a different level to the Dutch league.

 

A positive result for Manchester, really was a perfect performance. I think I could have played in goal for United tonight!

 

I think Spurs , Man City and Liverpool had poor season compared to United. All they won was entry to the CL but Man U won Community Shield, League Cup and Europa Leage plus entry to CL.

 

Have to hand it to United that they didn't give the Ajax youngsters any opportunity to play their usual style......it was men v boys, a functional performance but at the end of the day it was all about winning........

If Ajax can keep most of that side together for the next 5 years or so they may become a force in Europe again, but it's likely that the larger European sides will come knocking on their door and sign up the talent......
