    5 friendly matches have been confirmed to date

    Saturday, July 8 - Lowestoft Town (A) - 3pm
    Tuesday, July 11 - Stevenage (A) - 7:45pm
    Saturday, July 14 - Cambridge United (A) - 2pm
    Tuesday, July 25 - Charlton Athletic (A) - 7:45pm
    Saturday, July 29 - Brighton & Hove Albion (H) - 3pm

    I just put this info on the general football thread - they're such low-key fixtures I didn't figure they warranted their own thread <laugh>

    Norwich City have just confirmed 5 pre-season fixtures for the 2017/18 season from 8th July to 29th July, Starting with a trip to Lowestoft and finishing with a home game against Brighton.

    The full list is as follows:

    Saturday, July 8 - Lowestoft Town (A) - 3pm
    Tuesday, July 11 - Stevenage (A) - 7:45pm
    Saturday, July 14 - Cambridge United (A) - 2pm
    Tuesday, July 25 - Charlton Athletic (A) - 7:45pm
    Saturday, July 29 - Brighton & Hove Albion (H) - 3pm

    Presumably some more "interesting friendlies" will be announced later, there's usual some better sides at Carrow Road as the team step up their preparation.

    I think that might be it DH - the text says that the Brighton game is the final friendly.

    Given that the season opens the following Saturday, I can't see another match after Brighton. Another might be squeezed in between Cambridge and Charlton though, especially if it's mainly the younger players at Cambridge.

    There always used to be a 'glamour' club over on tour, from Germany, Spain etc?
    Maybe we should ask Vitesse Arnhem, they're only across the river and their talismanic striker could do with the target practise our defence would allow him <yikes> <whistle>

    I'd expect maybe a lesser team to visit CR, as last year, we had Coventry as part of us buying JM!!!
