After 17-years of being part of the EFL’s digital agreement the R’s are moving away from the network and will have complete autonomy. The new site - which is built mobile first and fully responsive to all devices - is due to go live towards the end of June and will offer fans a whole host of benefits. Working with industry leading digital agency Aqueduct, supporters have been put at the heart of the process with extensive fan consultation and involvement throughout the development stage. As well as all the latest news, videos and ticket information the site will also provide coverage from every aspect of the club through a clean user friendly environment. Once live, fans will also for the first time be able to enjoy a single sign-on experience meaning they can manage Ticketing, Online Shop and other services all from the same login. There’s also some exciting news regarding our video coverage as we look to engagement with all QPR supporters in Shepherds Bush and further afield, with a whole host of new features and services set to be unveiled. I was very fortunate to get to see the prototype for the new QPR website last year. It's a fully fluid platform that you can individually tailor to suit your preferences and is a huge step up from the archaic one that we're currently experiencing.
Cheers Nines for your efforts but I must ask, will the website arrive before or after the new training ground or stadium?
As long as you don't have to click "enter site" every time the page opens up, that really irritates me. If I didn't want to enter the site I wouldn't have gone to that page in the first place. Rant over, time for a lie down.
Sounds good to me. I didn't look at he website much until I moved abroad, and couldn't read local papers anymore. If, as they say, the new site will have more online video content, that is a massive step forward. May sound daft, but will we retain the domain name?
