A reminder that these guys are human, we all bash them and get irate when the FU again, but he was a good player for us not only in his first season but in the promotion campaign under Neil. All the best to him, though I'm glad he's going, bloody useless twat! Bah!
What, you have never stood in the rain in the uncovered River end? Obviously not a supporter at all. Get off this message board you imposter.
Happy days and those 'toilets' (I use the term loosely as one was obliged to p1ss up against a green slimey stinking wall), were a joy to behold
I've stood/sat in every stand during my time - I have fond memories of the River End when it was open to the elements - always a great view from there too.
Plus they've increased the age for senior concessions from 60 to 65. This despite operating a barely half full stadium every week
Unbelievably tin-pot ! I really cannot understand why McCarthy still has his job, not that I'm complaining the longer they keep him the better. SIXTEEN consecutive seasons in the 2nd tier and their lowest placed finish last season for 58 years is truly woeful. That EADT article also states that they're treading water, more like sinking like a stone !
I think they were right, I think a stone would sink faster than 16 years and counting per division. They look like the water treading has got them proper knackered and they may finally sink next year though. Bah!
I totally disagree with that. I think they are so lucky to have him. The amount they have to spend every season. The fact when you face them you worry about a few players. Is a massive complement to Mick. The players they have bought in cheap or free, and sold for millions, and still he has to sign free transfers. I'm amazed Mick has stayed.
Is there some 'skullduggery' going on with extra watering around penalty spots??? From the BBC report on the Citeh V Leicester game - "Mahrez, who had been brought down by Gael Clichy, had the chance to make it 2-2 but slipped as he took his spot-kick and touched the ball with his right foot as well as his left as he sent it into the net." I'm sure I've seen exactly the same thing happen on another game on MotD - it might have been Bournemouth a few weeks ago!!!!
