I said we offer less than some other countries, unless you are talking about economic migrants that work harder and for longer hours than our own Nationals, however, I also get that the system is abused as every system is abused, in that genuine UK workers can be displaced and I have seen evidence of that in practice. UK is not a first choice by any stretch of the imagination but it offers something more advantageous than benefits as I have described yesterday. The only thing that was wrong with our system is that the red cross were suggesting we needed to help more children, however, from a family unity perspective that also is riddled with disadvantage. Then the media jump on the bandwagon suggesting migrants are now pretending to be children, what truth there is in that I do not know.
This bullshit that migrants work harder for longer hours is bullshit unless they are working cash in hand illegally. The working week is 40 hrs and anything over that is optional. They are just cheaper .
