Has to go down as one of the best fights ever unreal. At one point the stadium thought Klitch had Josh. Then the comeback happened unreal. What a fight.
Watched it on sky fantastic fight. I really thought Joshua was gone, legs all over the place. Fair play to them both for giving 110%. I think Joshua needs to come down a few pounds and reduce muscle mass slightly, just to get a bit more mobility. I was exhausted just watching it !
I've got to confess I listened to it on 5 live ( I love the radio) it was the most exciting boxing match I've listened to in 40 years, I mean that the commentary and boxing was out of the box, I was thrilled, thankyou Josh and Mr Klitschko you are both top guys.
I was going to start a topic in here last night as you crossed my mind RR. Very jealous! I'm not into boxing, I'd never chosen to watch a match before last night, but it was incredible.
I did the same (as I refuse to pay for pay-per-view) - the commentary on the radio does make boxing exciting Joshua favourite for Sports Personality of the Year?
I have some gold tickets to meet him when he comes to Bristol next month. I'm a big fan. Get to meet him and have a photo etc.
Watched it on a stream, bit hit and miss but good all the same.. I didn't think Josh had jelly legs when he was floored..said to my son at the time, "still has a smile on his face in the next round, think he will come back and knock him out".. great fight by both boxers..
unbelievable atmosphere if I could post videos on here you would see from the stands. Had the hair standing up on the back on my neck.
Love boxing. It's behind Football and snooker but always wat h it when it's on. One of the best fights in recent times. British boxing is the best around at the moment. Really hope AJ's next fight is against Fury. Can't see there being a KO in that one.
you seen the pictures of fury recently, the man looks a bloated mess, cant see him being fighting fit by October or so.
Next summer is the rumour. Fury isn't the sort of boxer who will ever be ripped like AJ but he's a big old ****er who is hard to beat. He'll get himself ready for this fight, can't see him winning it but don't think he'd let Joshua knock him out.
The logical step for AJ is to fight Deontay Wilder next, he holds the WBC belt. It would unify the division.
