Some of those on the list haven´t even played much this season. 1. Deeney - as without him and his goals we´d be even more lost. 2. Gomes - as no one else even deserves second let alone first and at least he shows passion. 3. Holebas / Prödl - as no one else even deserves it and they have been decent enough. To be honest it shouldn´t go to anybody individually. Just fed into the strange black hole that this season has been. Or just given to performance of the season, like against Arsenal away or Man Utd at home. This thread really sums up a season lacking any sort of spark or sparkling player.

Reading this, just how good has he been? https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/first-team/colney-chat-abdoulaye-doucoure
If he plays well up to the end of the season (not sure when voting finishes) then I think he could nick it. Other than that, Proedle (can't find the umlaut!) Holebas or Amrabat despite their suspect temperament and lack of end product respectively. Love the way Amrabat and Janmaat link up.
He´s looked decent in midfield, that is for sure. I remember seeing Behrami is off at the end of the season too, so I am sure Doucoure will be here next...
Doucoure did himself no harm last night for POTS. One of the few positives for Watford, Gomez also deserves a mention.
In a season in which no one player stood out. We voted for Prodl. Maybe a safe solid bet for a voter with little to go for, a stoic defender who consistently put in strong perfomances. However we also shipped a lot of goals and our goal difference was absymal. However well done to him for putting in a good shift this season.......
