Looks like they maybe in big **** with the tax man, didn't Leeds city get disbanded for something like that ? Newcastle too, maybe 7th will get to the playoffs.
These sites make money by advertising so make things up to lure people on.then up pops loads of adverts.then you have ckick on each bit and spend longer on there site. Wood is our player and if we want can keep him.although i have heard man utd are after antonnson for 20 million rupees.
CalcioMercato claim The Leeds United hitman is wanted by numerous clubs, including the likes of Everton, Crystal Palace, Burnley, Sunderland and West Ham United, according to reports. The Italian media outlet claiming that €6 million (£5 million) will be enough to tempt the West Yorkshire outfit into selling. Firstly, we are going to have a string of rumours surrounding our top players, some will be true, most will be fake. The above report is laughable to even suggest £5m would be enough. It's going to be a very long wait and see close season. One thing for sure, with so many PL clubs looking at Wood it would suggest he is better than some people give credit for.
He is unproven in the Premiership but has scored a hell of a lot of goals this season after a slow start, for sides like Burnley,Palace and West Ham even if he only manages about 12 goals that could be the difference in keeping them in the Premiership, so paying 8-10 million for him would be worth it and for Wood regardless of whether he is happy at Elland Road the chance to double/treble his wages and play on the big stage for 3 or 4 years would be enough to tempt him away.
If he goes anywhere it will be for £15 million IMO,Hogan and McCormack are £12 milliuon players and not in woods league.
Obviously if a few clubs come in the highest bidder gets him, so more than £10 million is possible, especially if Everton see him as a replacement for Lukaku.
Can't imagine Everton being interested at all and if they sell Lukaku they'll go for someone like Lacazette imo. and spend big. Wood isn't their type of player. I can see someone like West Ham or Hull if they survive coming in for him but it'll have to be north of 10m for us to consider it purely because of other prices in the champ. Kodjia (who I really rate btw) cost Villa 15m and that was after he scored 19 goals in a season and he's a couple years older.
pigs will fly the day LeedsLover rips up his Scum season ticket ... Wood will be linked with the bottom half of the Prem because that is traditional now with top Championship players ... however, as we have seen in the past, these players don't simply move to the Prem but actually move to OTHER Championship clubs ... in fact, decent strikers from bottom half Prem clubs move down for a lot of money, take Jordan Rhodes going from Boro to Weds for £10m if McCormack can make two Championship moves for £11m and £12m then it is well within reason for Leeds to ask a Prem club for £15m ... truth is, every player has a price, and if they get made an offer they can't understand then they will leave the only thing I don't get is why there is so much glee from the OP that our top player may go in the Summer ... these jabs at our club aren't funny anymore, maybe it's time the OP has a rethink and starts to actually contribute meaningful posts that make sense ... he bears a very uncanny resemblance to Clivetime, and we all know what happened there Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Thats over three times what you payed for him and you've had two good years out of him as he has established himself as a top championship player, by holding him back you would have to offer him a contract doubling his wages and buy some top quality players whilst keeping the rest of your better players(improving their contracts as well), with the plan of winning the title next season, if there is around £30m in the coffers to achieve this plan fair enough but the reality is sell Wood for as much as you can get and look around for some bargains that will take you to the next level.
Probably true, but another important factor is that a striker is more often than not a confidence player, and someone who 'likes to be loved'. He is most certainly loved at Leeds, and this might be a more important factor than you think. I hope!
Guess you read an article somewhere that made you post that. Why bother having thoughts of your own when you can use someone else's views? A bit like your match reports.
No doubt we'll accidentally win on Saturday with an accidental Wood hat-trick, 30 accidental world class saves from Green, and an accidental team selection by GM.
You trying to make up for not getting to the conclusion on time by means of the number of posts your are now making?
