    Good Morning Everyone,

Was speaking to a journalist (with lets say close connections to Leeds Utd) last night on twitter and was told Jansson will almost definitely not be staying with us, certainly not if we don't go up.

Does anybody feel a little used by our Swedish friend?

    Norwich are after Garry Monk.

I wish our 6 fingered friends would leave us alone. Why is it when we are after one of there guys like Canos, we are given the run around, yet they have stolen Snodds, Howson, Clayton etc etc, and we do nothing about it?

They has been talk that Championship clubs like ourselves are just feeder clubs for the Prem big boys, yet clubs like Brighton and Derby etc who never seemed to lose many influential players whereas we get picked off at will. Why is this?

    Morning all...

Reserve judgement on Pontus, something obviously happened with him a few weeks back and it's no use our board ramming it down our throats that we have right to buys if we allow them to slip through. Press statements showed him signing on the dotted line, if that was all a farce then Rad will join Cellino in the book of horrors.

Yes a slight chance of making the top 6 but even then to win it would be a tall order. Monk won't be here next season, I still maintain he wasn't happy with the January window, we never extended his contract earlier our board took the wait and see approach and it's going to bite them.

I would have liked Monk to remain I really would but I feel us holding on to Pontus, Wood and Bartley far more important. I just hope the next guy in is also allowed to bring in a proper set-up and it's not back to one coach and no support like it was with Redfearn, Hockaday, Rosler and Evans.

A big part of me feels Monk worked wonders, a small part feels we were slightly lucky and I'm not 100% confident Monk could repeat this next season. This should have been our season, it got broke along the way and I'm not sure who broke it.

Morning ristac, this is the first time I have printed anything about Jansson's future, and the only reason I have is because I am sure about my source. Suppose we'll just have to hit n hope...

If we win on Saturday and the others slip it, it will be game on again. Wigan need to win and hope Birmingham slip up, otherwise they'll be down by 5pm on Saturday.

Another point... We don't know what discussions took place between Monk and Cellino at the very start. Maybe Cellino told him, get it right now as we will do all our spending now, not January.

Monk spent a lot of money and brought in a lot of players, he brought in an entire back room, we might have had a great season but... Although Monk got the defence right, should the signings be defended, most the attacking ones and midfield were actually pretty poor.

    Grimes
    Barrow
    Sacko
    Roofe
    Antonsson
    Hernandez
    Pedrazza

    Were they good value?
    ----------

    Bridcutt
    O'Kane

Are those two that much better than Vieira and Philips, O'Kane started out great but why was he dumped after one poor display, Sacko, Hernandez and Roofe have been permitted far more poor displays.

Facts: rad comes in and is supposed to be doing a 100% takeover deal which comes into action in June, Cellino sidelined & silent but owns 50% for now. No coincidence that we have our best season for 6 years and Cellino hasnt opened his mouth once. Rad says his first priority is to sort out a long term contract for Monk. Pontus goes is signing as soon as his 23 games are done, Pontus even tweets its happening. Something happened, no mention of Monk contract, Pontus not signed, fall out between Monk & Pontus, results go downhill, a deffo disruption in Jan window, Monk looking glum even had a dig or 2 at the board. This is real not rumour as we have all witnessed it.

So Im feeling that unless Rad comes out soon and tells the fans he has Monk locked in, he is investing in promotion next season, Pontus stays, Bartley stays. I feel we will see another implosion at the club. Kids not good enough and many sold off. Think Monk will go, Pontus will go and we get a small finders fee. The mood music since Xmas hasnt been anywhere near as full on positive leading up to Xmas. We should have been buoyant and bouncy because we were going for auto, not just a top 6, it was on. Form guide is never far out so from being top b4 Xmas we are now 20th.

Good morning all. In any great club you need team spirit from top to bottom. The first question to be answered is do you want to be at the club?. If the answer is not a definite yes you will not get maximum effort from him whatever his position in the club is.We only want people who want to be at the club. This is the basic need to be a great club.

Morning all. The reason we wont be keeping Jansson, Monk being linked elsewhere etc etc is simple. We dont spend cash like other clubs. All our business is done on the long finger or loan system with a promise to pay millions sometime. Time to wake up and smell the roses lads, its no way to run a club. So what if they all bail out. Could have made them substantial offers they find hard to refuse in January but the club did nothing. Just deferred all decisions till the end of season. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic. Were just better run than the GFH days but not much more cash to spend even with Monk adding 200k a game to the home game receipts

Whilst true, our best player has been Bartley and I truly believe his heart is still with Swansea. Lots of questions will be answered over the next 2-3 months that is sure.

Loan to buy hasn't been too bad this season but you do always run the risk of players on loan not giving it 100%

Sorry matey, but unless you have solid facts, it's rumour. Or speculation, if you prefer that word. Same thing, effectively.

Jock go back over YEP interviews with Rad when he came in. Go over statements given by LUST who were on top of the takeover by Rad and stated Cellino is out and here in name only. Look at the facts on performance, commitment, togetherness. Whers the rumour? On Pontus again read statements about what Rad says and then what Pontus says. Pontus was saying cant wait to sign as soon as my 23 game period is up. He then showed a picture in the YEP and Twitter of him signing, but then that turns out to be a pre signature agreement at the end of the season. Mood music and Monk since Xmas, please explain

Can't see Monk being here next season, if he is he won't get us into playoffs; if we had've gained promotion I would've given him a couple of months; can't see him doing much at Norwich if he goes there.

Jansson will probably leave once it's 100% certain we ain't getting promoted, if it was a bust up with Monk he probably wouldn't want to stay anyway. Opportunity to play in our Prem would be too tempting for him.

Bartleys performances have probably given Swansea reason to take him back.

If Wood leaves for prem then chances are he'll flop and warm the bench like Cook at Bournemouth, but Cook is still young. Wood isn't a goal getter, he relies on passes from wings etc, he's a 6 yard box striker, if the team he goes too doesn't rely heavily on wingers then Wood will probably get played out the game.

Silvestri will oust Green, if he's still here.

Wouldn't be surprised if offers come in for Berardi, with Taylor likely to leave we'll probably be losing 4 good defenders who have been the backbone and rock of our defence, going to be very hard to replace'em.

Midfield needs sorting still, we have some players but it still needs strengthening. Single striker formation is no good to us, we need to be more attacking putting more shots at goal and on target, I think we were something like second bottom for teams shots on target, and we need a couple of attacking mids.

Why O'Kane wasn't selected by Monk is the question on many fans lips, but Monk has made a lot of decisions this season that's brought about many varied questions from fans.

Basically it's back to square one and the drawing board the way things are looking.

Just a reminder that you predicted Wood wouldn't score more than a dozen goals this season, you laughed when I said more than twenty and you invited me to bookmark the post when I said Wood will be number one choice, Antonsson number two. I really wish I had bookmarked it now... <ok>

Fans dont know what goes on behind the scenes with players. Fans opinions are just that, based on what they see on match days or what they want to see. A player could be out partying the night before a match, do the fans know? Of course not. The manager, Monk has to deal with whatever happens behind the scenes and keep it private. None of us know what happened with Jansson, Antonnson or O'Kane and thats the way it should be. We will be in the market for a new team for sure, whether the owners have the stomach or wallet remains to be seen
