With just three games to go the Chairboys playoff hopes are hanging by a thread and, not by their own doing as much as the other playoff chasers are as bad as ourselves but the candle light at the end of the tunnel still keeps flickering it should have really been snuffed our weeks ago, so this week we entertain Donny who have already clinched promotion but seem reluctant to want to go up as champions so this could go any way. Gaz has no new injury worries and will be hoping PCH will be back after missing the last month. I will be at AP for my penultimate game of the season looking for the lads to turn their home form around and keep that candle flickering as only three points will keep us hanging on
I actually think if we get all 9 points we will be in the playoffs, however I don't think we will get all 9 points.
Leyton Orient losing 3-0 so will be relegated today because of that Italian ****!! Their fans don't deserve how they've been treated.
If Maidenhead get at least a draw at home to 2nd placed Ebbsfleet they'll be playing Leyton Orient next season and it's currently 1-1.
Went to see our local team (Saint Lo) Wednesday evening. Played the table toppers and had to win to go top and gain promotion (last game of the season). They won 4-1. If Wycombe come over here again pre season I might see if I can arrange a friendly.
Exeter score twice in stoppage time. A draw there to leave them on 66 points would have been handy If Stevenage beat Yeovil and Accrington they secure the play offs To get to the play offs (didn't see myself saying that), we need to win against Morecambe and Cambridge and at least 2 of the following to happen: Stevenage to not win both their games Mansfield to not win both their games, or to win by a smaller margin than us Blackpool to lose one of their 2 games Exeter to not win either of their 2 games Carlisle to not win both games Stevenage play Yeovil away and Accrington at home Mansfield play Portsmouth at home and Crawley away Blackpool play Notts C away and Orient at home Exeter play Doncaster away and Carlisle at home Carlisle play Newport at home and Exeter away
