Entering the home strait with both clubs still mathematically have things to play for in terms of the regular league season, Town still vying for a top two position although losing against the Trees on Saturday was not in the script, as for us the last play off spot is still up for grabs although a freak set of results may need to happen for us to get the last position.
To say Town habe had a more than decent season is an understatement, tip by Channel 5 pundit Chris Iwelumo to go down they are third ten points behind the Toon with a game in hand.
Under Klopp junior, David Wagner they play a high energy pressing game similar to many sides in the Bundesliga, you need fit players to play this style of football and to their credit the Terriers players have bought in to his demands and this season has brought it's rewards to them.
A very cosmopolitan line up these days with players from all over the place with three Germans, they also have the influencial Mooy an Australian on loan from Manchester City although I wouldn't be surprised if they buy him in the summer. Kachunga and Wells usually form the front line, Wells has potted four in three games against us. An Kachunga on loan from Ingolstadt although he will sign a deal in summer is a real danger as well.
In midfield is the towering youngster Phillip Billing who looked an ouitstanding prospect against us last season, took him a while to get involved this season but now seems to be cementing a regular place in midfield.
For us no Baptiste suspended, could really do with Hugill to be fit otherwise we'll be hammering the ball forward to our small forwards who will win zip in the air. As it is Town personally think we'll just need Paul Gallagher who cause absolute mayhem in the reverse fixture, and as it is Good Friday it does seem quite apt to be more crosses into the Town box.
Nothing to lose both sides should just go for it should be entertaining however only downside last two visits have lost 3-1. I'll be there should be fun will be a good atmosphere as likely to be 20,000 plus in attendence.

Robbed at the end by a referee who had eyes in the back of his head to give a penalty for an alleged stamp, honest truth better side won although to lose a point like that is hard to take, 11 points behind 12 to play for think we may struggle to do it now.

Yes, could not credit it. 2 shot on goal, 2 goals. Huddersfield had 70% of the play, but it does look as though NE were playing to the counter-attack and with Barkhuisen, Robinson, McGeady, they have the capability. The injury to Clarke seems to have been decisive. Play offs? Team still needs building to mount a successful challenge next season. Let us face it, NE is just short of the the class of N'castle, Leeds, Fulham but have beaten Brighton, Huddersfield and should have beaten Wednesday. So, nearly there. A good start next season and perhaps the crowds will return to D'dale.
