I'd say you probably don't if you think playing FB is easy. To play FB requires perfect positional awareness and an ability to read the game and always be one step ahead. And no one else on the pitch is required to do as much running. High level or not, it sounds to me like you have only considered the defensive responsibilities of the position. Perhaps you were a FB who never got forward, or perhaps you relied on your team mates to dig you out of trouble if you got caught out of position.

 

Or maybe he is a compulsive liar and also thinks Tony Adams was a full back ?

Full backs aren't required to do as much heading as centre backs .
