Buffoon club Charlton have announced that Block A and Block B in the East Stand will be closed next season "to improve the match day atmosphere" <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Seriously, I would close the whole East Stand based on the 500 fans in there in recent games.

The only way the atmosphere will improve is when Duchatelet goes.

If the Belgians stay any longer you will be able to house everybody in the North Stand with plenty of room.

They could pack the remainder into the north and west and still have big gaps. But that would be an open admission of failure. And these people don't do failure.
Or at least, they never, ever own up to it.

I expect the usual suspects will find a way to put a positive spin on what is really the most damning admission of failure.

£325 in the North Upper next season <laugh><laugh><laugh>

To watch Bury, Fleetwood & Shewsbury again.

You might as well close it now.

    It's good business sense apparently.

Closing sections of the ground is, according to some, no more contentious than closing empty rooms in a boarding house.
Not an analogy that holds up to examination really, not least because Roland Duchatelet is nowhere near as entertaining as Basil Fawlty.
(and remember, don't mention the War!)

It just confirms what we already know this REGIME has failed both on and off the pitch. Crowds of 6 to 7 thousand Charlton supporters in the Stadium. Six thousand Season ticket holders, lots of them don't go anymore. Sixteenth in the third division on a top six budget. Eight Coaches in three years, constant lies. Failure at every transfer window to recruit the players we need. Selling of best players. But at least we have got a decent pitch.
I do not understand why people like Colin keep on putting a positive spin on everything. How bad does it have to Get?
Roll on the Takeover, it can't be any worse, can it?

Once they looked to closing parts of the ground, they should have looked at the flip side as to how they can avoid this and look to put bums on seats.

    They are clueless Mr Lardiman.
