Came through Victoria Embankment (just down from Parliament area) about 45mins ago - seems to be a little quieter now, but one hell of a lot of sirens going here there and everywhere

Time to get tough and start slotting these vile excuses for humanity the second they take up arms. **** trials. Wring every last bit of intelligence out of them via whatever means then dispose of them.
    No more ****ing about.

We are at war and in times of war, certain protocols need to be dispensed with.

What amazes me is that we are said to be awaiting the return of a number of jihadists who have been in the middle east. Wtf? I'm not saying that preventing these morons from returning to our country will stop this type of thing but it does seem like a pretty good idea!

I'm thinking that Parliament should discuss the bringing back of hanging for terrorists

what's that thing were you have to get 100,000 signatures or something to make them discuss the issue

    We are not at war.

A relatively small number of criminals (no need to think up any grander, sexier word for them like "terrorists") cause a relatively small number of deaths. Of course, any death is the end of the world if it is yours or that of someone you love but the number of people harmed is considerably lower than, say, falling off a cliff or being trampled by a horse.

The government would be delighted if you gave it the power to shoot/imprison you randomly (once you give the government the power to do this to anyone, it gets the power to do it to you). Don't fall for it.

Isis have declared war on several countries including us. This is fact.
Do you advocate just sitting back letting them do what the want cos we don't want to get involved?
Our security services are there to protect us and for too long they have been ham strung due to our by the book way of doing things.
The book needs throwing out and MI6 and MI5 need to just quietly be allowed to deal with the problem, no pissing about.
It's not a debate for me about what caused all this Islamic (and other religious) terrorism, it's a debate about our response.
As a religion I have no issue with Islam and I have loads of Turkish mates who share
My view too on the need to proactively deal with these cowards. Islam is about peace not
    hate.

I am sick of all these liberal, idealist, do-gooder ****wits that defend ****tards like this terrorist ****. **** human rights. Did this **** today respect the victims human rights? Terrorism against the United Kingdom, its people and our Government is high treason. That should carry with it an automatic death penalty for the perpetrators and ANYONE that helped them. Suspected Jihadis living in the UK should be deported and if they have are British citizens, both themselves AND their families should have their citizenship revoked.

We need to close our borders to immigrants from certain parts of the world unfortunately. Brexit is a blessing. We can now control who comes here and we should get tough. I am not racist or prejudice but quite frankly, enough is enough.

Agreed. Anyone who declares himself an ISIS ****er on his landing card should be arrested.

And Dorty, the government could 'suspect' you of being Jihad and deport you and your family.

We don't make the police obey the law because we give a duck about criminals. It's because we know what they do if it's left up to them. A one in a million chance of getting killed by a terrorist doesn't scare me. A police officer able to torture me because he thinks he wants to does.

I don't think we need to arrest them, clearly there's tree hugging socialist extremists who abhor the notion of safety first.

So How about this - we build a not-prison and call it a mental hospital. In it goes every fcking selfish sub-human fcktard who proclaims themselves part of ISIS. Rehabilitation is the order of the day. If they can't be, they don't get out. We should decry this mentalist nonsense (religion) as loudly as we can. Where is the human right violation? They can be repeatedly assessed by a medical professional but if deemed a danger to themselves or others - i.e. An extremist - they are kept in this highly secure "hospital". Where the nurses carry guns.

It would be better if they weren't given the opportunity of returning to the UK in the first place.

What we need to do is shoot these people on the spot when they commit a terrorist attack and threaten further attacks; identify, track down, monitor and arrest people who plan these attacks or want to go off to fight for ISIS abroad; thwart the majority of planned terrorist attacks (although catching them all is probably impossible); then send these people to jail if found guilty in one of our law courts; and legislate appropriately to combat terrorism and terrorists without compromising our own civil liberties and way of life.

Our government should get tough and start deporting anyone convicted of even agreeing with ISIS. My brother has to protect these scumbags as a met officer as they protest against the UK calling for our armed forces to be murdered.... on the streets of Hackney of all places.
Any soft ****e saying that we need to hug a terrorist is as bad as them.
