So its back to Adams Park for the Chairboys to entertain the Cumbrians who have sat in the automatic promotion places for most of the season and dented the table toppers title ambitions on Tuesday evening after being stuffed last weekend by in form Blackpool at Brunton Park. This will be a difficult task for the Chairboys but we are a different kettle fish at AP this season and have not lost against any of the top seven but after indifferent performances on the road this year moral needs to be restored. Gaz has a growing injury list with Pierre, Weston, PCH and Blooms all likely to be missing but Jakubiak Should make his home debut. I will be at AP hoping our home form continues and we can put to bed the last three games and look forward to climbing the league again and the lads put on a performance we can all be proud of
Bit worried about our leaky defence. What is the problem there? Not too sure about Blackman. Good shot stopper but seems to be all at sea too often for me.
Another defensive howler and a shocking performance by the ref about sums it up how can you get flaged for off side and then they are allowed to take the kick two yards in our half Bayo was pushed kicked all game with out getting a decision Paris and Alex both had their heads taken off without the bastard in the black showing a card disgraceful
Thought we were unlucky yesterday - poor defending but the better side thoughout the game and created a lot of chances. I know its worth nothing without the win but its considerably more positive than stevenage or crewe! Agree that the ref was appauling guy but actually in this scenario he was correct. Due to law changes at the beginning of the 2016/17 season an indirect free kick as a result of offside can now be taken from where the player touched the ball/was considered active - mostly used when a player is coming back from an offside position. In this case Paris has ran back from an offside position and challenged for a header within our own half, therefore the referee was actually correct allowing the free kick to be taken from that position. Not excusing the rest of his performance of course!
Sounds like a stupid rule change mate so if it was Usain Bolt who was offside and ran back and headed the ball in the area the free kick would be taken in the area I don't think they have thought it through make the officials jobs easier not harder they are bad enough
Just seen the highlights of the game how the **** did wycombe not get 3 points from that I'll never know. Hopefully they will have more luck against the old enemy col ewe otherwise our friend from Essex will be on here gloating all week .
