The Chairboys travel to Meadow Lane to take on the Magpies on the back of a six game winning run in all competitions and four in the league and are unbeaten in our last four away games, a record that has seen Gareth Ainsworth win Novembers EFL2 manager of the month award, the Magpies are on a run themselves four games without a win and have lost their last four league games, since September they have only won twice in 14 outings in all competitions. Gaz will be looking to buck the curse of the month award and continue our run and the only injury concerns are Weston and Southwell as far as we are aware so GA only head ache is who to leave out of the squad. Its Mrs Wanderers works Xmas do so I will not be traveling but I expect the Blue Army to be in full voice cheering the lads on to victory
With a win we are not going to move far maybe overtake Yeovil, but could do with putting some distance with clubs below us with three just 1 point behind
Yeehaaaaaaaaaaaa. Had no electricity (hence no internet, no TV, no ****ing tea) since early am. Just got it back and missed all the fun.
You're lucky Ron I had to eat all of my ****ing tea as I didn't have an excuse not to. Good job I have several pints on the way home. I always tell her indoors that matches are 4 hours long.
It was better than a good win for us Ron. Like your match a few controvertial moments and happenings. I have been reading a few comments on the Doncaster Fans forum and they do let themselves down somewhat. The things written about MacCormick, our keeper who did time for drunk driving and causing the death of two kids, are disgusting. It is never forgotten by Argyle fans either but the man did his prescribed time and the law let him out. If he was a chippy then he would have gone back to messing about with wood, a plumber he would be mending taps. Thing is he was a footballer so he has returned to his trade like everyone else would do. He gets taunts every game whether home or away about it. I suspect their players had said a few things to him before their penalty as well. Their player missed and MacCormick gave them a few words back. It all kicked off with their Captain running half the pitch and grabbing him by the throat. He got a red for that and it's his fault nobody else's. We don't like what MacCormick did either and MacCormick himself will live with it forever. So he should but the football pitch is no place for that kind of stick to be given. I noticed on the replay that one of your opponents was stood next to the Ref applauding with hands above his head when Akinfenwa was sent off. What a penis. These footballers need to look at themselves sometimes. No wonder people think they aren't very bright. Mind you it is pantomime season.
Well yesterday was good fun to watch if nothing else! On replay it appears that the officials got 2/3 of the big decisions right - thier player is going in with excessive force and off the ground so worthy of a red card (sheriden does not have a hope of getting that on appeal!) and our second is a legitimate goal - no foul and he was onside. As for bayos red card it was very harsh to get him for persistant fouling based on that - however ainsworth should have subbed him off long before that point, as the ref was looking to even things up
