I would have posted that but please bear in mind.... One performance doesn't make a successful career... I hope Sims does well though
I've already had a bet with someone in the pub that either the fail or the scum will report Sims to Liverpool tomorrow morning
Football is all about opinions, i've seen quite a bit of them both and they are both excellent prospects, our AM department looks to have a good future.
I always thought Sims was more of a winger / inside forward.... rather than AM? Appreciate others watch more of academy than me though so happy to be corrected
I'm using AM as a generic term to cover the three positions behind the striker, I would put Redmond, Tadic, Boufal, Davis etc in the same department.
Pfft. We were just worse than average, Southampton slightly better. The young lad had a good game, but in the land of the 5 watt lightbulb, the 10 watt is king!
Jags is finished, he's been awful of late, time has caught up with him. Same goes for Baines imo, as I think that early goal was largely down to the pair of them, Baines put zero pressure on the ball allowing the cross to come in and then Jags made a mess of dealing with it. Lennon spent most of the game last week hiding and he did little of note yesterday, Del did more in 10 minutes than Lennon has done in 2 games. Barkley's work rate is simply not good enough, and he needs dropping imo, I'd give Del a go in the No.10 position and switch Bolasie over to the right, with Mirallas on the left.
I would take whatever was on offer for Mirallas in January and ship him out! Jerry behind Rom could work.
There's others who need to go before him imo. I can't say I'm looking forward to next week. The thought of Zlatan up against Jags in the air is frightening. Surely he's got bring Mori back in?
Who knows, will take my regular ticket in Stretford End with my mate and see what happens. He is less bothered about coming to GP these days so will not have to trade a game with the lad near me as I normally do.
