    Thank God that's Over!!

    Worst season in history.
    - Started with that farce of a qualifying rules.
    - 7th year of ridiculous 1 team dominance
    - a world champion who couldn't be bothered. Then could be bothered but winged about reliability that plagued his free practice.
    - his whingy MOPEY team mate who was only good enough for 2nd place.
    - Terrible race tracks and rules that only promote 3 second gaps between cars.
    - inconsistencies by the FIA to punish or not punish drivers.
    - the sickly bias of the UK media

Thank God for Verstappen. I'm willing to give 2017 a chance

Bando good to see you around again!

    1. Agreed don't mess with something that doesn't need fixing.
    2. I cannot agree, 2010 and 2012 were one of the most amazing seasons of the sport.
    3. Come on, the only driver that doesn't whinge is Kimi.
    4. The tilke-dromes need some gravel traps thats for sure.
    5. FIA needs serious rearrangements.
    6. That will never change.

and what if 2017 is the same all over again?

since when has a rule change not resulted in a team dominating in modern times?

Do we really expect much of a shakeup next year? I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Merc come out miles ahead again. Hope I'm wrong and we get a proper competition again. The past 4 seasons have been proper dull. We're due a good one right?

I just hope Mercedes aren't the dominant force next year, I just can't take any more of the result resting on the pace the team says is the pace.

If there's going to be domination I thing Red Bull are the best best for an inter team battle. But ideally I'd love to see a season ending with 3 or 4 drivers in with a shout.

I'd just like to see Ferrari, Williams and McLaren back at the top of the pack where they belong.

I think the gains Renault, Ferrari and, hopefully, Honda make, will be more than Mercedes do. mercedes caught a few lucky breaks on the way, with Ferrari and redbulls strategy errors. the redbull will probably be a great chassis, if they can get within .5 in Q then they have the race pace. Mercedes probably will still have the best car, but the margins will be smaller. compare the last 3 seasons, each time the others have been closer than they were

I hope you're right. I don't think I can take another bore-fest. I just want some competition. Even the "banter" on here is dull because it feels like nearly every race is the bloody same.
