The rumour mill is starting up for the January window - the Daily Torygraph are suggesting that up to eight first team players will be shed in the next two windows - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...ws-jose-mourinho-ready-to-axe-at-least-eight/ So who is worth keeping, and who should go?
Of the eight mentioned I've got to be honest, I'd let them all go. I'd rather the Schweinsteiger thing had never happened as he's a very useful player. Uneccesary and being shown to be a mistake with every game we fail utterly to get a grip on. Carrick might as well go elsewhere for a final couple of seasons with everyone's thanks and best wishes. The rest, well so what? Schneiderlin is really the biggest disappointment. Should be good, isn't up to it.
If Mourinho thinks he needs to get rid of 8 players I can't say I'd disagree with him. He needs to get rid of deadwood like Pogba, Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic, Phil Jones, Schweinsteiger, Young, Rooney and Smalling.
I said before Jose took over that quality is there in the team besides a right wing player. We need the manager to work with that team first and foremost. As much as everyone is pointing fingers at our defenders, they were never a problem last season. Lack of goals was the problem and still is. However, not because we don't have the players to put the ball in the back of the net. But because we are fked with system that tries to fit everyone in by playing them in whatever position is available.
Well,he better move fast and get it done with,he not getting the axe for chelsea cost him or rather he wasnt allowed to get the axe so he might as well do a massive clear up and risk losing any hint of squad togetherness if he feels he cant make it work anyways, maybe he will be readu for next season
Jose Mourinho have to look at the mirror too, things can never be the same again. He will always live in the shadow of Sir Alex Ferguson. He must stop blaming players.
And he must stop trying to be the next alex maybe it be chavs or mancs in terms of bullying the referee, getting off with a slap on the wrist from the fa and getting time added on and all the extra bells and whistles that old rednose managed, they have clamped down on it hard nowadays...only man who can command somewhere near similar respect but most gracefully doesnt use it to his full advantage is Arsene. Unless Jose or Pep last a decade continously and win several titles, they wont be getting those perks.
You went missing most of last season Only come out of hiding about a month ago.......... Look at Chelsea board last season full of fair weather fans
I've just posted on another thread over here. The drop-off on this board is unbelievable. You used to be almost as busy as us. I don't understand. You've always been as passionate as us until now.
