Lyon midfielder Corentin Tulisso has been whoring himself out in the media by stating that it would be a 'dream' for him to play for Arsenal. He's 22, versatile, can play as a centre midfielder or as a right-back and has an eye for goal. Thoughts anyone? Personally, although I don't know much about him, it sounds like he could be a very useful player, but we are well stocked in central midfield and I can't see AW splashing out more money on another midfielder.
I don't think we need him. We already have enough defenders and midfielders to last a season. Only real position is CF and even then we'll need to sell to make room. I can't see anyone new coming in this Jan window. Only next summer will bring someone new.
Would much rather we buy a CF, but getting one in Jan might be difficult. We don't really need any more MF players, although I did see us being linked to Isco today, who I'd make an exception for !
Yeah it would be unrealistic this window but summer would be more probable. But I agree on Isco, he would make an excellent signing but create a headache for Wenger with too many midfielders to play around with.
Aubemeyang falling out of love with Dortmund? Come over dude... come over here right now... Walcott---------------Ozil---------------Sanchez --------------------Aubemeyang------------------ In the words of Scotty T....... that front four would be FEISTY.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan made his first appearance since 10 September, and he didn't do well either against Fenebeche. It's a shame he plays for that **** Maureen otherwise we could make a cheeky bid for him. Its clearly not going too well for him at manure and if the right club.comes along might get his head turned and the fee welcomed.
arsenal only get our cast offs. Welbeck and Sylvestre being prime examples. A few wins in autumn for arsenal mean **** all in terms of the stature of both clubs. Win something first, then try and catch up to us in terms of our trophy haul, then you can dream about buying our players
Another Season like last year and half your players will be dreaming of playing for the likes of Arsenal. You won't be able to keep the likes of Martial regardless of your past 'trophy haul'.
Soo Gnabry scored a hatrick on his debut of Germany. He also has four goals and 1 assist in his first 9 games for Bremen. Still 21 years old.. please tell me why we sold him and kept Chamberlain?
We already had finalized everything with him then Arsene pulled out ofnthe deal according to dortmund's coach watzke.
Because Gnabry wanted to leave. I guess he thought his Olympic heroics was a unique chance, and he used it. Arsene could not promise much immediate playing time to Serge, and the guy did not want to wait. I am sure Wenger wanted to keep him, since Gnabry is clearly better than Ox, but it was already beyond him. One thing that surprised me was how cheap he was for Bremen, in our current market he should be 15 m+
Why would it have been beyond him? Iwobi went from nothing to first XI in a matter of months and Gnabry I'd say is currently more of a productive attacker than Iwobi right now in that he scores and assists more. Gnabry could have been first XI by now. Instead we sell him for next to nothing.
Iwobi was committed and kept on peeforming,he was a vital cog in our system, arsene always like one of his wingers to cut in while the other one was a jack of all trades like ljungberg and pires while now it is sanchez and iwobi. Iwobi acts as a linkup man to play the ball with and who can playmake and create danger and make runs,a jeck of all trades...as soon as he was in the side from last season, our fluidity greatly increased. Iwobi was so commited in succeeding with us he opted out of the olympics to stay and train and be ready for the new season with us which he publicly said and did. Gnabry had a good start, was constantly injured, failed to recapture his form when sent out on loan, had disciplinary issues with pulis and came back early,we coaxed him back to form and fitness then he decided he is not signing a new contract or going out on loan again so we sold him.
