Thanks anyway. Attending your match on Saturday and hoping to catch our game first. Hopefully your Premier League status & the tv's are restored sooner rather than later, although I know very well what a difficult task this is! Edit: the club don't see to know either, although the chap responding to my email hopes we enjoy the match against QPR on Saturday....
For future reference, the club have finally managed to decide McBride's does have Sky. Just need both our teams to win now....although this is a treat for Mr Foxy, 2WhiteStripes to you, so I'll hope you win as a priority
Bullet missed ... and one I trust we don't go near in the future. "Nigel Pearson was sensationally suspended by Derby County hours before their game at Cardiff. Rams boss Pearson found out the shock news after owner Mel Morris ordered that he was sent home from the team hotel. Morris is now set to officially sack his manager after deciding his appointment was not working. Wealthy Morris appointed the former Leicester City chief in the summer but results and performances have been shocking. Pearson fell out with some players, telling them after the defeat by Blackburn that he would be staying but many of them would not." Source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...SunFootball-_-20160927-_-Football-_-599993388 Looks like Pearson has been sussed now that he hasn't got the two Leicester coaches with him. The added rumours are that Derby are looking at Steve Bruce !
Unlucky for some? Ross McCormck will now play for his 13th different manager now that Villa have sacked Roberto di Matteo. See that Swansea have also sacked their man and brought in Bob Bradley - hotly tipped for us at the time of Kit's going.
Blimey, now Cardiff have sacked Paul Trollope. Know they're struggling but he's only just got there! Ah well, at least we saw him at a better time in his life; Kevin Keegan's first signing. please log in to view this image
Double Blimey! They haven't wasted any time, bringing in Colin as his replacement. please log in to view this image What with this and Villa interviewing Steve Bruce, survival panic rules!
Again not a political comment. Simply a very revealing set of numbers: please log in to view this image

As a result of the mutual termination of Nigel Pearson’s employment agreement with Derby County any disciplinary process has now ceased." Colin's only been there five minutes and he's brought in 3 free transfers - Marouane Chamakh, Sol Bamba and Junior Hoilett. All getting on a bit, but have we missed out on something? Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37621288?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed And on the subject of new managers, looks like Steve Bruce is going take over at Villa and, possibly the big surprise, Steve McLaren most likely returning to Derby. Think I'll "no comment" that one.
The thing with the McClaren return is will he want to take back Martin in January, as I think on his last stint there was when Chris Martin was at his best for Derby. Maybe we'll get Darren Bent in exchange. We play Villa away soon will Bruce be able to lift them in time, they play Wolves at the weekend followed by Reading away then us.
Colin's only gone and got another one on a free - someone we'll remember well That should be fun, Kieran Richardson fighting with Jazz Richards for a place in their team.
Nice story about Cairney going to visit a kid who sent him his pocket money. Most amusing thing - the kid's letter: "To: Cairney I am now going to give facts about Cairney and tips. - Good skills - Try to do a bicycle kick - Run to get the ball fast - Good player From: your season ticket holder" I think the kid nailed it with the tip on running to get the ball!
Amazing how the story hit the national media and even getting a response from Garry Lineker. Reckon the lad's £3 pocket money was a sub so that Cairney could sign up to Fulham TV. Copied this from said FTV (yes, I signed up as well Cookie) so not sure the link will work. Hope so because the kid is absolutely brilliant: http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2016/october/13/tom-cairney-meets-giacomo
Our old boy (24) Marcello Trotta playing for Crotone on loan from Sassuolo scored a pen in a 2-0 win over Chievo. Bottom of the league but first win in Serie A. Another youngster who left before he should. What's happened to Hyndman at Bournemouth ?
That absolutely makes me cross. Bad advice from his so called advisors. He could have been playing regularly this season or at least .ore than 30 minutes in a cup game.
In fairness to Hyndman and his advisors, when he signed Bournemouth were strong in central midfield, but since then they spent a lot of money on Lewis Cook from Leeds (who also hasn't played much but seems to be ahead of Emerson) and then got Wilshire on loan. Without those two signings he might well have been making their bench and getting his chance. I think the Wilshire signing was maybe one that fell in Bournemouth's lap rather than a carefully planned one; presumably Cook was more planned. Did they tell Emerson they were after another signing in his position? Who knows, but I can see how it would have looked like a good move for him at the time. My friends who saw his brief appearance for the Cherries were impressed with what they saw. I don't think the problem was bad advice, more that he was underused here and was allowed to become disenchanted with his place in the scheme of things at Fulham. I agree though, it's a crying shame that he's not still here for us to build a team around.
The Ginger Iniesta has just scored from the half way line Mixed reactions about the outcome of this game; a draw kind of suits but a play off place for us is more realistic for us, so a Brighton win is probably best. After today's other results, although we've dropped a couple of places we're actually a point closer to a top six place - only 2 points adrift.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been sacked as manager of Championship side Queens Park Rangers. Wonder the reasoning behind it, results or press controversy, is Tim Sherwood in the wings. Paul Lambert in at Wolves.
