29/03/2016 : Remi Garde has left Aston Villa, this is the AVFC website statement : Manager, Rémi Garde, has today left Aston Villa Football Club by mutual consent. The Club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Rémi for all his efforts during a difficult period and wish him well in the future. Eric Black will take over as acting manager until the Club appoints a new manager. There will be no further comment from the Club at this stage. That is nothing more or less than what is to be expected in these situations.
Talk of Monk taking charge next season!!! Are you really that desperate? TBH I'd rather Villa stay up than Norwich, Sunderland and Newcastle - not as far from Swansea (if we beat the drop)

EPL Saturday, 09/04/2016 : Aston Villa 1-2 Bournemouth Helping the opposition win, yet again ... what a brainless back-pass from Cissokho to gift Bournemouth's second. Despite this result AVFC are not mathematically down today as Norwich also lost. Attendance : 31,057 (SSN)
Larry has to be the top poster on here. The **** Villa have been through this year and he is still posting. Top bloke.
Yeah Larry is a good lad, he's been invited to our board so that there is more interaction for him but I think he likes the solitude.
I do most of my posting on AVillaFan. EPL Saturday, 16/04/2016 : Manchester United v Aston Villa, KO 15:00 hours. Stream. Feed2All - Manchester United v Aston Villa

Nothing game really for Villa, any win today would have simply delayed the inevitable. They did seem to play with a bit more pride today tbf. Good luck next season
Thanks Treble. With all the Boardroom shenanigins, never mind the playing side, if it can be called 'playing', we will need it. EPL Saturday, 23/04/2016 : Aston Villa v Southampton, KO 15:00 hours. Stream. Feed2All - Aston Villa v Southampton
EPL Saturday, 23/04/2016 : Aston Villa 2-4 Southampton Yet another defeat incurred by our poor play. At least the team showed some spirit today. Attendance : 29,729 (SSN)
