More Bernie Dicking around with F1:

    - Bernie isnt worried about a new chairman taking over FOM with the view of removing Bernie from power.
    - Due to 'hand shake deal' with Bahrain, They have the right to veto any other gulf states from joining F1. This includes Qatar...

    - Bernie wants to bring back v8 or v10 engines to F1 in 2016. This wont settle well with Mercedes or Honda and will probably rule out any hope of VW/Audi joining <doh>

    Here is an interesting quote:

    CORRUPT!!

And there's more where that came from here, including:

Interestingly, it appears that he favours Sacha Woodward-Hill to succeed him; not a "lady with a credit card", presumably.

So basically he's intent on screwing F1 up even after he's gone. Reassuring.

In 1970s Spain, before the death of General Franco, the then-future King Juan Carlos assured Franco that he would continue the dictatorship after the Generalísimo's demise; he was believed and named as Franco's successor. Of course, King Juancar did quite the opposite and instituted democracy once he had assumed power. Maybe I'm being optimisitc, but who would tell Bernie now that they will do things differently once he has gone?

I suspect Bernie feels that losing his grip on F1 would be the end of him. It seems to me that maintaining his power is the only important thing; who cares what carnage he leaves in his wake? Gotta keep on winning, stay on top 'til the bitter end.

"Dear Cyril (Abiteboul, head of Caterham in 2013). Please be reminded that where possible, grid access passes should be used for celebrities or people of note or as always, really glamorous ladies. This is not so much a sporting matter, but a part of the show business of formula one."

I'm as unsurprised as I am with the FOM logo, someone should tell it it's no longer the 80's!

There's a few cards against humanity that describe Bernie perfectly. Not PC enough to post here though.

    What a <insert card here>!

I think it looks like the logo of some evil James Bond-baddie secret organisation. I can see Bernie as a Bond baddie, come to think of it, stroking his rug in a sinister manner.

So anyway, now it looks like Bernie wants to be put in a home after all. And that home is the Playboy Mansion; I guess he's hoping for a happy ending.
