Hi Scullion. Welcome on board. Dont worry about making a fool of yourself. I do it on a regular basis. We are all friends here.
I will rep you Scullion - my reps are quite high now I support Middlesex in cricket as I was born in Hayes. I must have a few years on you as I started at the end of the Bill McGarry era - Pat Jennings in my first season. I think Old French lives up to his name though and beats us all. Schooled in Watford - I think a year or so behind Gordon and Bolton and mates got me to go along and hte rest as they say is history. welcome . Cricket is what the Scottish National team lose to the English Minor Counties at.
Welcome Scully. Perhaps we should start a cricket thread. Funny how lives can go in different ways. But for a twist of fate I would be primarily interested in cricket and, probably, golf and not care, or even know about, Watford.
Scully - come and join us in The Nest. It's the place for random postings, rants and general talking bollox....the regulars are very friendly
Thought I would drop in and say 'hi'. Found this site by accident looking for something on google. Seems very good and covers all the teams which is great, especially for someone like myself who left the Uk for pastures new in 1996. I have been a Watford supporter since I was 13 having moved into the area (Hemel Hempstead) from the Midlands. Used to go to the game with my mums cousins who were season ticket holders. The ground still had the old running track then and the team were languishing in the fourth division. Although living in Melbourne Australia for the past 17 years I have managed to get to a fair few Hornet games whilst visiting relies and the odd working trip. Also managed the 2006 and 2013 play offs too. Have seen many a good game at the Vic, enjoyed many highs and also some lows. Hopefully, between this site and a few others I can keep track of the clubs progress through the course of the season (with everyone's help please!).
And the same from me although I have posted a few times already. I have been a Watford supporter since 1982 but only started going to games regularly in 1996 and have been a season ticket holder since. I come from Kent and made 'the mistake' (?!) of picking Watford over the likes of Liverpool Man U etc which all my friends were going for in the absence of any league teams closer than Gillingham. At the time in 1982 we looked good..........I'm sure I've had more fun in the meantime mind - who needs the Champions League!
Welcome Ghost and Hornetdownunder. Its always great to havenew input and opinions. I hope you both enjoy it here. If you need any help feel free to message myself or Hornette_TID and we will be happy to help as best we can.
