She shat herself during a race though and looks like a crow so best ignored.

Agreed. It's quite a dry thing to commentate on for several hours and she does a decent job. Not bad to look at either.

Yeah, I may be a little harsh on Logan, it's not easy hosting several hours of live stuff. My wife claims she had some kind of barney with Johnson in a previous Championships, but can't remember what it was about. Any recollection?

I hope Bolt gets a gold in the 4x100 tonight, and GB get silver. Though I wouldn't be deeply upset if was the other way round.

I'd give Johnson-Thompson the most disappointing 30 seconds of her life.

until she realises you have no insight into throwing the javelin?

Lots of young ladies who could be high fashion models in this. Not sure about McPherson of the US though.....

I saw her. Looks like an absolute headcase.

Yeah there are some worldies but KJT has that whole moody Scouse vibe going on and she's used to disappointment.

Now they have Cram and Foster on the sofa talking about the 5000m, and Daley Thompson sitting there saying absolutely nothing.

I don't recall that, but they do seem a little "edgy" with each other.
Yeah, our sprinters could pull it off if they get the baton round. Wouldn't mind seeing Bolt get gold though.

Anyway, it's Mo-Time!! Come on Mo!!!!

Ouch, didn't expect that. I think the other Brit ****ed it up for him with that burst of pace at 500m out. Oh well, competition is what we want.

    Thanks Mo.

Now I'll walk the dog before Bolt time.

    Bollocks!! Gutted.

The Ethiopians boxed him in and ran like a team. You're a legend Mo.

Don't think you can blame Butchart, I thought he tried to break up the Ethiopians.

It was just not Farah's day. Still a great champion.

But it is 11 years ago since Gatlin was banned.

Indeed. Can't blame him for turning up and making a living. I blame the authorities who allow a two-time drug cheat to return.

I've really enjoyed watching these World Championships - been some really good competitions, and a good atmosphere generated by most of the competitors, and the crowd usually.

Yep, and? He's a cheat, but the authorities are weak.
Agree, it's obvious that a 'one offence, life ban' rule would sort this nonsense out. If a mistake is made the athletes can sue.

    Well done women's 4x100 team!

I think a two year ban for a first offence is fine. Anyone can make a mistake or be pressured into something. Twice and you're gone.

If you make the risk of any offence terminal it will focus the mind and character of athletes and coaches.

The people who are cheated are the paying public, because they don't see fair races. I have no sympathy for those who cheat them.

I thought Gatlin's first offence was for an ADHD treatment that he'd been taking since he was a kid?
