The list below is preety sweet reading, 5 first teamers out with injury (although they still have a good squad). Just need Kane and Alli to each pickup groin strains from their man love games and we could sneak a win?

Newcastle have been handed a boost ahead of Sunday’s Premier League opener against Spurs, with news of injury concerns over Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min, Danny Rose, Victor Wanyama, Kieran Trippier and Erik Lamela.

 

Spurs should have too much for us but I said that last time and we stuffed them. It's a funny old game as someone once said.

Still think Spurs will win. Will go with 3-1 away win.

 

Dele Ali will be up against Manquillo right? Key that he has a good performance and that the CMs fill the space in front of the CBs and give them some protection. Counter attack approach and playing a bit deeper will hopefully help to nullify the threat of Kane a bit. If we've got Gayle, Ritchie, and two from Atsu/Perez/Murphy/Aarons then there is enough pace there to punish them on the break if we play it up field quickly when we turn over possession. It will be difficult though since there is obviously a clear gap in quality between the two sides.

Too right let's pump the wings and actually someone like mitro might create space, now it all depends on who goes behind him. Mine would be Perez atm, good connection with Mitro and bit more movement than De Jong. Would be the perfect game for him to score one of his tidy little goals

 

Can honestly see us sneaking a win in this one but either way its the performance and attitude that I want to see and body language if we do go behind/lose!

Was going to predict 0-4 spurs but just read Mystic Merson has gone 0-3 so I'll revise my prediction to 5-1 Newcastle.
