Formula E is already quite a good series. The racing is pretty good. I think it can only grow and get better with all these car makers starting to invest in it.

There are a couple of things that I would like to see change, one is the circuits, some are quite good, but others are terrible. I would like to see them on normal circuits. And the only other thing is the car switch, but I think that will come as they develop the technology.

The Montreal E-Prix that's on now has been excellent by the way. The track is decent too.

Yeah I agree on the circuits, I think the issue is the need for heavy braking zones to allow energy regen, and the fact the cars simply aren't fast enough right now to risk direct comparison to be made with lower tier series.

Formula E should definitely be running the full Monaco circuit though, and I definitely think there's other circuits that would be appropriate. Melbourne could work for example.

Yes, the current Montreal E-Prix is a cracker. Don't they have another one tomorrow?

    Yep, season finale!

Also, worth seeing Buemi's utter meltdown post-race today. So funny!

This from the BBC. Just in case you thought Benson had already reached the lowest pit...

They've had to remove it as most of the top rated posts are complaints about the chart and Benson's extremely partisan reporting

Maybe Ferrari should consider painting their cars yellow from now on. That red just makes everybody angry. :)

OMG, did Benson really put this upon the BBC?

Seriously, how does he still have a job? He's turned the BBC F1 website from a news source for all things F1, to something that really not worth even looking at anymore. It's a huge shame the way the BBC F1 site has turned out, I hope something changes soon.

Benson and Crofty should have their own column, firmly away from the key broadcasters of F1.

    I find Sky commentary excruciating

Benson and crofty explore alternative facts. I would be tempted to actually watch that, but then I'd just have to mute it and do subtitles, can't be doing with it

Although the last 10 seconds of this commentary is rather satisfying...

I Couldnt bare Antony Davidson the other weekend. He was so Fickle on his opinions to stewards decisions. One minute it was 'oh he definitely wrong there' then the next minute he was agreeing with the decisions not to penalise.

I wish they were more stronger with their own opinions rather than agreeing with everything or being so partisan. Bring back Murray!

to be fair sometimes the immediate impression is wrong, for example Verstappen on Danny when I thought he'd made the move on purpose, because that's the sort of thing he does, but replay showed he was just an idiot. And he has to be partisan on Sky or he'll get the boot.

I signed to have sky for 18 months , as soon as the contract is up , they can f right off , cringe worthy . If we could have sky pictures , with Brundle , Murray( Actually perhaps not , given his age ) & Jenny Gowe , and a couple of others , commentating , I would be happy .

Bit like I would love sky cricket , but with the TMS team commentary .
