Bollocks. We need to get over the line and kick on next season. It's now a war of attrition. I'm not Shergar or UIR, I don't sit at home and and look on line and then slap myself on the back if we win, regardless of how we get there. I go to games pal. You know, pay at the gate (metaphorically). However, needs must and the bottom line is we need to somehow kick on and get CL next season or next season will be just like this one, ****.
That last bit is where we disagree mate. We could have all those strikers on the pitch, but if we don't have runners, or anyone that can pass the ball to them, then how are they expected to score. Our finishing is only a small fraction of the problem. Our real problem is the clear cut chances we create. We don't stretch defences, we rarely play with enough pace, and we can't pick a player in the box to save our lives. The quality of our passing in the final third is predictable and poor and very easy to defend against. The ONLY thing we're better at under Mourinho than Van Gaal is: 1) Winning back possession. 2) Attacking and moving the ball forward right up to the final third. But that's where it stops.
No fear. We still have the Europa so we don't rely on the 4th place like kloppyflop and the RS Of course with kloppyflop winning today, no surprise you've turned up to wum here you retarded cvnt . You disappeared when the double figure lead steadily crumbled to almost nothing. The RS are already celebrating their CL place. But it is not guaranteed that you'll get it yet.
You're just coming out with nothing. We all know what we need. But clearly the results aren't there. So to say "results are all that matter" having drawn a dozen games is clearly meaningless. It's obvious the reason the results aren't there because the performance isn't there. This isn't a one off ffs, there's clearly something in common with ALL the games we've struggled to score in. Call me fool hardy but I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest it's something to do with the football we're playing. Don't know about you, but that suggests performance. Saying soundbites like "war of attrition" mean very little when you're going out week in week out failing to win games. You have to try to understand the reason behind it. Otherwise it's just burying your head in the sand.
I haven't disappeared to numpty. @Treble ca vouch for that. So much anger and #fear in you post Fistian,
I'm not against Jose tbh. I have more faith in him than Van Gaal. I doubt we'll achieve Champions League football for next season which imo is a massive failure from a manager who should have pissed that with the players at his disposal. So it all comes down to HIS attitude in our style of play. But even if we write off this season (which is looking more and more likely) then I still believe he will eventually come good given time. So I'm willing to back him.
Again, bollocks. What would you rather at this stage in the season? We get another draw having played well or we scrape a one nil win? Right now, however much you think you're being clever, we need results. We've had good performances and still not won so, as we go into the final couple of months of the season, I'd just as soon we win. Somehow
Frankly, I don't give a sh*t if we play ugly to the end of the season - provided we win games. What does a flowing, breathtaking performance count for if we lose or draw. Winning puts the points on the table, brilliant, dashing play brings in the plaudits. Sh*it plaudits at this time of the season - let's play ugly, win at all costs and get this mare of a season behind us.
no fear or anger you retarded RS cvnt as I said we still have the Europa so your wumming sounds desperate and reeks of #fear of being caught.
Again, soundbites. It's not a choice between one or the other ffs. I'd rather we tried to fix a problem which has been a common theme in the vast majority of our games this season. Our inability to score goals. We will only win games if we score goals, we will only score goals if we create enough chances, we will only score enough chances if we improve the quality of our football in the final third. How the fck is that being clever, it's fcking basic football ffs? What good performances? Name them.
I swear people really are deliberately being dense. I don't care whether it's ugly or breathtaking fella. Performance doesn't necessarily mean either. Performance here is about improving how well we're passing the ball, stretching opposition defences and creating clear cut chances to score.
Of course it's not one or the other. We know that. Ordinarily at least. Right now though, we've got to ****ing win games. The Europa league particularly. What wound you rather, we go out in a blaze of glory and have a groundhog season next year or we win the ****er playing 'practical' football? Seems a bit late to me to suddenly unleash the hounds and expect results to just happen.
We're hardly able to 'fix' things at this point in the season. Clearly JM intends to do some serious transfer business in the Summer and if the rumours are correct then we might see Greizeman come in to add movement in the final third (not to mention his goals), plus some steel in the midfield that ought to free up Pogba to be more involved in the attack. This season has been one of consolidation - new faces come in, the deadwood has gone. A few more signings in the Summer and we should be in contention next season, but for now it is all about getting points - how we get them is completely incidental.
Disagree, we played better not well. Two games which are pretty desperate picks tbf is hardly an endorsement of our performances this season either. Did you being there make them play better? You should go more often.
We played well, both were entertaining, attacking performances. Lots of final third action you so love with many chances , we just didn't score from them. Or did your stream tell you otherwise? If so, don't bother.
Nah bollocks. We were good in possession in both games, but never looked like scoring. Yeh there were a few chances created against Arsenal but we only really threatened with the extra forward when Rooney came on. Nice of you to quote two marginally better games from sometime back in October/ November. It speaks volumes about how poor your original point was.
