I admire his honesty Chief, and he's being honest in his thoughts on Jose. I hated him as a player but I would have liked him if he played for us. He was good though, and he says it as it is.
Well at least we are all agreed that Roy Keane was, and indeed still is, an 'orrible **** The only bone of contention seems to be whether he was a genuinely hard ****, or just a ****.
Keano is the best CM to have played in the PL. Lampard, Gerrard, Scholes, Vieira etc all superb players but Keane was phenomenal both as a player and leader. The clip of him making Vieira soil himself in the Highbury tunnel is hilarious and he won the game for us before a ball had been kicked. He's also always been bat **** mental and is gradually getting worse with age. When he grew the white beard I thought he may well have reached the certifiable stage.
In the days when every team had at least one angry Scotsman with attitude. Cracking photo, that. Dave Mackay had it in the window of his tie shop in Winchmore Hill for years.
I remember Ian Hutchinson kick Jackie Chaltons ankles from behind, Jackie just turned around and kicked both his feet clean off the ground in front of the referee. Ref waved play on Jackie was an uncompromising bugger when he got a paddy on.
