Sorry to hear you didn't manage to get one Stockton. Nobody can say you're a fair weather fan when you live so far North!
Sorry to hear, it is a shame that two home tickets were worth more than two away. Pleased that most people who wanted a ticket got one.
Managed to get a ticket through my mate who works for Nike. I will be at Wembley in block 101. Can't wait. Only problem now is my brother hasn't got a ticket and is very upset. He's coming up to Wembley with the hope he can get one off a tout outside the ground he's set himself a budget of £250 if not he'll be watching it a pub outside the ground.
Decent seats there in 101! Closer to United fans though I think. As for your brother if he's willing to get say 50 quid or so higher he can probably get one from a ticket site...
Actually a quick look and there's one in the United end for £261.... http://www.livefootballtickets.com/fixtures/efl-cup-final-tickets-efl-cup.html Site reviews here: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.livefootballtickets.com
Yeah we did think that. There is still an outside chance though that my mate can get another ticket via Nike so don't want to fork out the money and then find we didn't need to. I'm assuming there are quite a few touts outside of Wembley on match days. Apparently block 101 is a neutral area behind the dugout. But like you say nearer to Utd fans than saints fans so will have to behave myself.
Yeah it's in the lower tier in the stand you can see when you watch games on TV... cracking seats and I reckon there will be a mix of United/Saints in there. Understand about not wanting to fork out too.
Simple maths Lambo: how many years have you known and loved Mrs Lambo and how many years have you known and loved Saints? They just don't get simple maths
Sad to read of people who turned out when we were in Div One not getting tickets. I didn't enjoy the baiting of newbies from Northam ST holders when we played Coventry - well I did, but admit it guiltily. However, the spirit of it, that some fans only turn up when there is success guaranteed, holds true. I did consider what I might have done if ticketless, and decided I would have to be with other Saints fans. This made me wonder whether either the club or the City were considering a big screen showing of the game. Anyone wiser than me on this?
A screen was tried once at SMS in Lowe's day and wasn't well attended...everyone was at the game. If they did, there is an amphitheatre near the West Quay extension.
See my last post! Hope something turns up, mate. Hull and Sunderland should have counted double as they are inside the Arctic Circle. Sorry, don't get your point about the Burnley game. Wife's birthday so you missed a game .. nope, refusing to compute!
Exactly, Shows the difference between academic maths and application in real life. She 's a bloody PhD in Maths - you know all that trying to find x stuff, as if I care, and maths modelling (I thought that sounded dead sexy when I first knew her, but it isn't). But as you say, when it comes to the mundane blindingly obvious - useless
Tried to IM you but couldn't. I have a ticket I can sell to you due to me being over tired when I booked it and making a mistake. Cost price of £79 and want to sell to a genuine fan.
Get in there Stockton, lad. Before our friend here is killed in the rush. Nice one, Saintly. Your status as a true saint is hereby confirmed. Lots would have had this ticket on e-bay by now.
I got sent this by Virgin so it looks like there will be a screening at St Marys. http://virginmediapresents.com/#all/southampton-ticket-giveaway_issue7
If anyone else has a spare would be happy to take! Missed out yesterday! Hope all who do have one have a great day though and hope I can join you somehow! Also missed out by the odd game (1 home and 2 away!)
