When Fer and Gylfi play, Gylfi does both his and Fers job as an AM and CM. Roof, Gylfi is better, in fact, much, much better than Fer in every position. Always has been and always will be. While I'm at it, so is Joe. That's the last I'll say on this.
Seems appropriate that the last you say is the same old same old . Fer is an attacking midfielder by trade ... he just doesn't get to play it with us . Imagine how many more goals Fer might have if he took corners , free kicks , penalties and played as our attacking midfielder .... he already has more goals than Siggy
He isn't an attacking midfielder by trade at all. he has always played as a box to box player, unfortunately he doesn't have the engine for it and that is why he doesn't last very long at clubs as he gets found out.
Who is running Fer down? Please read posts before responding or you sound like Dai. I have posted that he's done well, but saying he'll slot right into Siggy's spot and do just as good a job is questionable at best - completely off the scale of lunacy at worst.
Discussion in a 'Targets' ie...'New players thread' I don't know how to do your fancy facepalm emoji so will do it the old fashioned way ***************FACEPALM*******************
If your suggestion were to be implemented, we would eventually end up with more "thread"(s) than a Chinese jean factory.
I take your point LJ but that's the way discussions evolve on occasion and you've been around long enough to know that. We often have a meander around and that's the way it works sometimes. Trying to police threads is thankless and that's why we have mods. But I can help you with the emojis if you like. Here's a good one. Now give us a kiss.
Haha, cheers mate! Think its just my internal frustration that we haven't SODDING SIGNED ANYBODY YET ARRRGH!
Well we have just taken on Makelele as Assistant Manager. Only just found out about that. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38588997
Sadly, mods don't always perform their duties equitably, as favourites are allowed to behave as and when they want, whilst others are penalised for it. The policing of threads would be somewhat eased if an 'Insult thread' were in place. Anyone wanting to call someone a ****, or ******, or **** *** ,or something similar, could simply leave a message for the person he wants to insult, and meet him on the insult thread, and they can have a go at each other. Assuming they both want to play, of course, since attendance would be voluntary. No banning orders would be forthcoming for such encounters. Not everyone engages in the rather childish act of abusing and insulting others, but some simply cannot help themselves, and need to let off steam as their vocabulary, patience, etc., is somewhat limited. With this 'insult thread' up and running, the main body of threads would become a more relaxed and enjoyable place to visit. Just a thought, so don't anyone start insulting me for having it. O.K.
**** off you senile twat. Most of us who have been here a while encounter posters whom we dislike and some of us even have stalkers who deliberately take everything the wrong way. I also think the abuse that sometimes flies around makes the forum an unpleasant place to be, derails threads and infuriates those not involved in the 'spat'. Luckily we all seem to be getting along right now which is encouraging as on the pitch and off our team is in a shambles. Maybe that's uniting us in the spirit of the Blitz. In this case though I think LJ was just bemoaning meandering off topic which is entirely different. ....and which I've just done again.
So, telling me to " **** off you senile twat " is your idea of a "getting along right now " strategy ? Well, let me tell you something, you ****** **************, I like "the Blitz" bit. Perhaps we could "blitz" the ********* into submission.
As you said, Vetch http://www.swanseacity.net/news/art...ciano-narsingh-swansea-leroy-fer-3515733.aspx
Have I read that right, that we have to let players go to bring new in (Carroll) I hope not as I think all in the middle we have are better than him. Unless of course someone has asked to move.
