Plans submitted to develop Stamford Bridge to a 60K seated stadium officially approved. The team will need to find a new home during the improvements, anyone fancy Twickers for a while.

Awesome, though the stadium design is ugly as ****!!

Spurs new stadium design looks great, ours looks like a cross between an egg slicer and a slinky! :(

Oh well, it better be nice on the inside at least :)

Think it still needs the Mayor of London to green light it but certainly a step in the right direction.

I personally love the design. Unique and imposing.

Please not Twickenham though. That is such a ball ache to get to for me.

Great news! Id prefer Wembley to Twikkers from a travelling point of view. Love the connection to Fulham Broadway Station. 60k capacity is great all seated. I have been in 70k+ crowds twice at SB and getting back to the station then was a nightmare I never want to repeat!

What are the alternatives though there are not that many in the West. Wembley seems the obvious choice.

I quite like the look of it to be honest. What happened to the dipping of the pitch idea though? Will that still be incorporated?

Yes, apparently the pitch will be set downwards.

Apparently Jose is kicking in his winning bonus from Man U.
    Guess that means we are??
Things are looking up ,up your way RD, though I see Jose is again thinking of getting rid of kids and preferring oldies. Never mind, in 3 years he'll be gone, like always.
