Due to be sold off for development in the next 5 years, if Old Oak is a non starter (which looks likely) and there being basically no other viable options for a new stadium currently, could this be an option? The site is massive, similar to old oak without as much to clear off, has its own station too. A lot further away from our heartland then most would like but could open up new support with no other club in that area?

I'd prefer to stay where we are than move out to Surrey; more chance of alienating our current support than garnering a new one I feel.

Although I prefer Sandown, would sooner not see Kempton lost to developers, as a racegoer. Losing Wimbledon and Walthamstow dog track, plus Millwall's tribulations it seems not much sporting heritage is sacred nowadays.

got to make homes for the new arrivals. 500 yards from the racecourse London Irish had their ground. One minute you have two great venues on your doorstep, next a great big housing estate

Folkestone racecourse stopped hosting races in 2012. It'd probably be cheaper to buy, good access from M20, a train station and best of all only 20 miles from me.

The Scum are about to start rebuilding their Stamford Bridge stadium and are talking about going somewhere for a couple years while that gets done, and are looking at either Wembley or Twickenham.
I think we should also do the same and just stadium share at Twickenham and just rebuild Loftus Road. If we can get ahead of the Scum and reserve Twickenham that would do us nicely.
I think We could easily make our home into a 25,000 to 28,000 seater if the whole place was redesigned properly, counting box seats and office seats. That would be plenty for us. I think we would be deluded to want a 35,000 seater. We are not that kind of club. May be that could be done if we added a third deck, but the only way to do that would be to gut the current situation and dig deeper into the ground so that the actual playing field would be 30 feet below ground level. That would make it easier to have almost the same level of skyline for the top of the stadium if the neighbours have rights to the sunlight and the sky, etc. I suppose it could be done if they really looked at it.

What about parking? Shepherds Bush can cope with the odd capacity gate at present. It wouldn't if we ever became successful again and regularly had gates of 30000. Also one of the biggest drawbacks at LR is that seats are made for midgets through to small adults. As a nation we are getting bigger not smaller. And the views generally are sub-standard. To change all of that does require gutting.

Our owners would knock the old place down and then never get around to building a replacement

Would suit me down to the ground as I'm looking at buying a place 5 minutes walk from the main entrance ...but really can't see it happening.
