And to further make my point...... http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10723966/premier-league-clubs-unlikely-heroes-revealed It's Alonso for those who can't access the link (or can't be bothered!)
Think you are reading his formation wrong. Azpi is rwb and Kenedy lwb. Anyway, i've been a fan of Alonso as hes got bags of stamina, technically hes quite good, has some height and works hard. He's this incarnations Paolo Ferreira, a 6/7 out of 10 player every match. However i think from watching the City and Spurs match, if theres a fast winger and people attack down his side, the guy cannot handle pace because he doesn't have the acceleration so we get a bunch of backing off (bridge used to do this) and either he gets skinned, or matic has to come over and you leave a gap in the middle. I think this is one of the easiest positions that we can improve on. As for Baba, he was pretty bad defensively but on the attack i thought he was okay. I won't fully write him off yet as our whole team was shocking last year, he's still young and could improve defensively but more importantly, his physical attributes aren't actually that bad. I doubt he will get his chance though. I'm more looking forward to Ake pushing for the LWB role or a CB
I am the one who sees things straight & states things plain. May not be politically right but I state the obvious all the time. I am nuts?? Adios!!
Stan your opinions are not in keeping with some of the more boring dudes on here but it is welcome by many others, and god damn it you have a right to express them. Do not give in to the negatives mate Chelsea Pensioner once left us for a while because of negative ramblings but thankfully is back now. Just because you don't conform to their way of thinking does not mean they are correct and you are wrong. Forza Azzure'.
Hey Stan, as others have said, you have every right to be as unique and controversial as you wish. And I think enough people have already said they support you. Personally,I like your passion and that you think "outside the box". So take a breather, but don't disappear. The great ideas NEVER come from the majority, always the MINORITY.
Amen to that, and I must say I am very glad you took the time to reconsider and say "**** em I am me and always will be". I don't post here much but missed you when you were gone
Absolutely CP. If you had told me James Milner would turn into one of the best left backs in the country 1 year ago I would have said you were bonkers.
Thanks Diego, you should come on more often, seems that the site has become like the team, a much happier and more cohesive place to be. Nice to see people jump to Stans' defence too, every opinion is worth hearing and everyone can disagree without going over the top. Far more interesting posts happening now.
The timing is suspicious. Mikel leaves and then his biggest critic Stan leaves. That can't be a coincidence.....
