I agree. They need to now move onto the future, and make leaving the EU work.

except Scotland so it seems?. The fat ugly one seems to think that she has the ultimate say on Brexit and that she does not need to take any notice of a UK wide referendum. I thought listening to what the people wanted was called 'Democracy' and that a Country run by a small group of people (in this case the Scotch) was called an Oligarchy?

Is the UK more like Russia or the USA?.... unless you have a lot of Money or Power in Russia I gather it is not a very nice place to live.

Scotland will get its independence, then join the EU. Then millions of foreigners will have access to Scotland. Then they will stream over the border to England<ok>.

No Don, we will re-build Hadrian's wall and get the EU to pay for it :)

It takes a couple of years to join the EU. Hopefully, Scotland will realise what a waste of time it is in joining after our economy gets going again. Don't know if any of you have seen too:

Royston was waxing lyrical yesterday about how well the economy is doing now, while we're in the EU.

I don't think it's doing as well as the past, but it seems that we are still in the midst of a global recession. Every economy bar a couple are doing poorly, and it'll probably dip once Article 50 has been invoked (though I don't know why we need to invoke it, can we not just say "BYE?"). How quickly it recovers is the question, which given we can solely influence our own policy, it should be quicker.

The EU is a bit like Virgin Media, relatively easy to join but a right bugga to get out of.

Carney was put up to it by George Osborne, as part of Project Fear.

Whatever happened to that emergency budget the week after the EU referendum?

George Osborne's laughing all the way to the Bank of England. Following in Blair's footsteps on the American circuit.:emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash:

Audit the Bank of England! Pretty sure they all dodgy as ****. Hardly find any honest people these days about.

The EU only suits smaller countries who get out more than they pay in, and helps global companies get a footprint across all 27 nations. If it was detrimental, how comes many other nations survive and thrive outside of trading blocks?

It was all bullshit from the start.

The citizens of Europe don't benefit from such a bureaucratic, tyrannical and corrupt system, where you have life presidents and politicians. Heaven knows why citizens vehemently defend it.

If people actually believed that, they are morons. Not only were the people making those claims not in anyway able to make those sort of decisions, we are still are in the EU, therefore the 350m is still being paid.

Another reason why it's stupid to believe it - the tories are in control - underfund to make privatisation look a good idea. It's what the ****ers do.
