    According to Portuguese news outlet Zerozero, City are not the only team to have shown an interest in the Brazilian, who also has Serbian citizenship, following a short spell playing for Red Star Belgrade. Interest is also coming from French side Nantes and a number of South American clubs.

    Swansea City are close to signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Carroll for a fee worth in the region of £8m.

    People are making alot about the wages
    But isnt huddlestone on not far off 55k a week yet is deep lying god knows
    Weve signed a striker to hopefully score goals, were paying for a striker
    Strikers cost money, getting a striker who could possibly score the goals to keep us up for effectivley £1m till the end of the season is that not a good deal?
    I just dont get the negativity on us actually investing cash and doing it in what could be a shrewd way that keeps us up orrrr allows other signings
    Especially after the push on here for the club to sign and players and spend cash
