Its been a great investment in the Ferens, always enjoy seeing Return from Inkerman. Tunick's seaofhull and the Turner should raise its profile.

I've been to the British Museum's Lines of Thought exhibition up at the Uni, free entry, well worth a look.

Really looking forward to the ferensway re-opening. Dragged the boy to see the exhibition at the Brynmor library. Great to see Rembrandt, michalangelo, Monet, Degas all in Hull. Really worth seeing.

No, although it was briefly closed before Christmas for some work to be carried out
Anyway he obviously meant Feren's Art Gallery...

Cracking video that, the night time bit (most of it!) was very evocative.

Had a very quick squint at the blade today, **** me that's impressive.

I'll have to get back and have a proper look, but I was surprised by the scale of the thing.

I'll certainly be heading to Hull to visit Ferens. I enjoy visiting galleries, the last being thle Scottish National in Edinburgh just before Christmas.

My enjoyment lof art is down to one man, the Social Studies (or whatever it was called) lecturer at Tech College, Park St , back in 70-72; day release apprentice. His name, I am almost certain, was Ray Flint, a lovely lad 40- ish, who sometimes took us in an afternoon to give us a cultural experience. Problem was, once done we bunked off to Trogg Bar or Centre Bar on the lash.
Thing was though, Ray did his bit, all those years ago for Hull culture. Just thought him worth an honourable mention.

I think the organisers should invite people to sign it to commemorate the year Hull was City of Culture.
