    Very strong team.

You'd be happy with that as the first team in most cases but for the fact you'd also like Carrick, Martial, Bailly, Shaw/Blind and Zlatan in your first team.

By **** we've a strong squad. Watch us fly second half to this season.

Worse than under van Gaal of course but you can't have everything.

Imagine how good we'll be once we've got Griezmann at left back.

I expected Rooney the club captain to start all the cup matches. Including the final if we reach it. Good decision by JM not to play Zlatan and Carrick and keep them for the RS. Great to see Mikhi Pogba Herrera back for the match.

We rely on Zlatan to much. Everyone else miss so many chances. Should be out of sight already.

Anyone else notice the cross Pogba decided not to attack, was a whipped in left-footed cross from .......Valencia!!!! Seen it all now.

2-0. Expected score. Decent score to take to Hull.

Could have scored more, very happy with 2-0 going into the second leg tho.

Enough to be confident at Hull but not enough to be complacent and play academy players.

We did a job tonight. Rooney went back to his usual good game bad game routine... so frustrating. Don't think it worked up front with the players/formation tbh.

Played well within themselves and didn't risk any injury for Sunday. We played/walked through and around them with such ease that with a bit of intensity/speed we could have had 5 or 6, maybe we could have had that many anyway, even with walking, if we knew how to shoot straight.

With those players around him Rooney should have been centre forward. Was very surprised Rashford was in that role.

I thought we were sound enough though, plenty in the tank for Sunday.

I didn't want to mention that just yet
The best run since Feb 2009. But lets hope to make it 10 :bandit:

Made hard work of it at times, but it was a decent result against a poor Hull side.

I just hope Rooney doesn't feature against Liverpool, we don't need this record getting in the way of what is a massive game for us. As I felt it affected the performance tonight, we looked a lot better once he left the field
